My husband and I just started taking our pup to Valley Green and we LOVE IT! We could not be happier with the experiences we’ve had so far. Every one is so sweet - the secretaries, nurses, and of course doctor. They have interacted with our puppy so well and are so knowledgeable. Dr. Meg makes such an effort to make our puppy feel welcome and safe every time we visit. Our puppy loves the vet because he gets to see her!! We know he is in good hands with her. She talks us through everything to help us understand the how and why of things. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone and everyone!

Oct 19, 2024 · Lisa BahmuellerIf I could give them six stars, I absolutely would. Without a doubt, this is the best veterinary clinic we've ever visited. Before our first appointment, they proactively contacted all of our previous veterinary offices to obtain Tigger’s medical records. I’ve never encountered that level of service at any other clinic. This thoughtful approach set the tone for the rest of our experience with this exceptional clinic. Every staff member—from the doctors and nurses to the technicians—was friendly, professional, and made us feel like Tigger was their top priority. As for the billing process, it was thoroughly transparent. Every treatment, medication, option for care, food choice, and test was clearly itemized and explained to us before we made any decisions. We were given ample time and flexibility to decide how much we wanted to pursue and at what pace, making the entire process incredibly manageable and stress-free. FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM BEGINNING TO END!
Jan 29, 2025 · Scott wilbertIf I could give this location 0 stars I would. I called Valley Green Animal Hosptial yesterday because our dog was in crisis; an appointment was made & when we got there EVERYTHING went to hell. They wanted almost $2,000 BEFORE they even seen our dog. The Vet didn’t even want to examine her without this money. We knew the dog was sick but how this was handled was EXTREMELY POOR. The hospital was advised that we did not have $2000 & after begging the doctor finally checked our dog out. She advised that our dog was FULL of pus in her uterus & that she needed surgery which would cost over $8000 and when we advised we could not afford this they brow beat us and made us believe that our only option was putting her down. They did NOT press for us to run any further tests ASSUMING we wouldn’t run them & took our money for euthanasia and “allowing” us to take her home with an appointment for that afternoon. NO TESTS WERE RAN OR OFFERED & the ONLY pricing we ever received was THOUSANDS of dollars. We were advised that our girl would likely not make it out of surgery. This DEVASTATED our family as we felt we were going to lose a family member. Thankfully I refused to just let her go & made some calls to other vets. Dover Animal hospital checked our girl out & ran tests to find out that our dog has a VERY TREATABLE disease that once stabilized would allow her to live a LONG HAPPY LIFE. Not only is our dog NOT full of pus, there was never any reason to suggest euthanizing her. Valley Green Animal Hospital was going to kill our girl because they valued MONEY over our pets life. The list of things on the $2000 initial bill they wanted to charge BEFORE seeing her that was UNNECESSARY is disgusting. They wanted an X-ray BEFORE taking any bloodwork stated they would need to sedate her so she wouldn’t move even though she couldn’t move & that would require an IV line, etc etc etc. This facility is so motivated by money the health of your animal NEVER comes into play. When they were called and we requested the euthanasia money be returned so we could use this towards her treatment we were told that the office manager was on vacation & our refund couldn’t be processed for a week & 1/2. They “accidentally” disconnected our call but never called back & is not making any attempt to get our money returned to us. Don’t take your pets here please. It terrifies me to think of how many innocent animals they’ve probably euthanized because money is what motivates them not making our pets safe & better. DISGUSTING PLACE WITH DISGUSTING PEOPLE! I will upload pictures later so there’s no disputing our side of the story. We were NEVER offered bloodwork without being told we had to do MANY other things to run up a bill! We spent our money at another facility that even with many tests, hospital stay, X-rays etc our bill still isn’t even near the money they wanted 1st! Shame on you Valley Green Animal Hospital!!! ***I added a picture of Barbie today 10/7/24 that with a TRUE treatment plan is WELL on her way to recovery. This is the dog that Valley Green said 4 days ago needed to be euthanized.***
Oct 07, 2024 · Carrie GiftOverall, my husband and I are very happy with Valley Green animal hospital. Our German shepherd had inflicted a very bad injury to her tail a few weeks ago. She actually managed to bite the tip completely off, and break it about 3 inches up. Our dog littlerarly hated her tail ever since she could chase it and would always bite it.(She is 100 lbs of pure muscle, so imagine the damage!) The Dr.s and staff took her in immediately that day and treated treated her, and gave us options since her tail had been an ongoing issue for her. We ultimately decided it needed docked and they performed her surgery. They were wonderful, keeping us updated on every step of the way throughout the day by giving us phone calls. I would definitely recommend this Vet to anyone who needs an animal doctor. Of course people get mad when they have unexpected expensive things happen to their animal, and no one is happy paying the bill, however it was worth every penny. She is healing great. They even reached out to us multiple times ,before our 2 week follow up checkup post surgery, just to see if we had enough medication and to see how she was doing. We will definitely use them again. Thank you sooooo much to all staff there, who made our girl happy and healthy again!
Nov 19, 2024 · Amy GWe brought our cat in because he was acting disoriented and hiding from us. Displaying big changes in routine and behavior. We decided to bring our cat to this ER, so we put him in a cat carrier and brought him in. He is a very scared cat and peed in the carrier when we got to the hospital. The vets took our cat to another room to check him, brought him back and said they were glad he peed because it could have been built up urine. They did blood work which turned up fine but couldn’t collect a urine sample because the cat had just gone to the bathroom. They sent us home with a urinalysis kit to do ourselves. We got home and our cat continued to hide from us and started limping. The limping worsened until we investigated his paw, found a cat claw in his leg and realized his leg was swollen. We tried to take him back to this hospital but they didn’t have a time that worked for us. So we went to a different ER, where they found he had an abscess in his right leg and immediately needed to drain it. Our cat and our wallets went through unnecessary trauma because the vets at this clinic overlooked our cats problem. If they would have given him a physical or checked him they would have found his injury. But they charged us for blood work and sent us home. It was almost $500 to have them basically overlook the issue and send an injured cat away. It’s very unfortunate that this happened, because time and money and our cats well being could have been saved. Instead our cats abscess grew and we spent $700 somewhere else the following day, with 2 weeks of recovery time for our cat. Would not go back here ever.
