My 15 week old baby was horribly ill just at close of regular business hours. My vet suggested Urgent Vet. We were greeted by KS with a sense of urgency and genuine concern about Eli (mini Aussie). Given his lethargic appearance and tremors we were brought immediately to a private room. She reappeared in full gown scrubs due to possible parvo precautions. Once she took detailed information I was directed to call pet poison control and the vet came into the room to assess my boy. I was initially presented with a worst-case scenario and estimate and the option to go to the ER up the road. After the vet spoke with poison control and conferred with me I decided to go ahead with treatment at urgent care. I was very confident in their ability to treat Eli. This is a fantastic option for pet owners and the hours are extended. The final bill was 1/3 of the original estimate and my guy was up and playful the next morning. I recommend this Urgent care to anyone who has a after hours event with their pup. The staff went above and beyond. I am grateful.

The staff at urgent vet were very friendly and caring. They got my injured dog in within an hour. They loved on my fur baby while giving him great care. I would definitely take all my pets there. I was highly impressed by the quick service and the options they gave me as far as treatment. If you need a regular vet, or have an emergency I would definitely recommend taking your fur baby to urgent vet. The cost was very good compared to other emergency vets in the area. Shout out to Callie Harris D.V.M and her wonderful bubbly asst. Prettyboy and I thank you both.

I can’t say enough great things about my experience at Urgent Vet of East Cobb. From the moment we walked in, Kayla made us feel so comfortable. She was incredibly thorough kind, and caring as she checked us in, showing genuine concern for my pet. Her warmth and professionalism were truly amazing. Dr Gurney continued that same level of care and compassion. He was so attentive during the exam and took the time to explain everything clearly. His thoroughness gave me so much confidence that my pet was in the best hands. The team at Urgent Vet of East Cobb truly went above and beyond. I recently brought my 15-year-old senior poodle, Cody, to Urgent Vet, suspecting a bladder infection. Kayla was amazing! She was incredibly sweet, professional, and took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process to me, which I really appreciated. It turned out that Cody was fine, but Kayla's knowledge and compassionate care made the experience so much easier. It's clear she genuinely cares about both pets and their owners. I brought my lab in at 10pm on a Friday. I was worried something was terrible wrong. The incredible staff from the vet techs to the Dr. were wonderful. They were gentle and patient with our baby and quickly diagnosed her with Limber Tail due to excessive happiness! Wagged it till she broke it… well sprained it! They gave her pain meds (which made her identify as “Snoop Dogg” if you know what i mean - see pic) and an anti-inflammatory and sent is home with medicine to keep her comfortable. We were in and out in less than 45 mins and she is doing great now. They even called the next day (on a Saturday) to check on her. I hope you never need to use them, but if you do, your pet will be in good hands.
