URGENTVET - The Veterinarian and staff were more than fantastic!!!!!! Super friendly, warm, and caring! This was my experience: The clinic closes at 11:00pm; at 9:45 my 26yo son and I had to drive 45 minutes from Anderson because other clinics were full and not taking anymore animals. My son’s 18yo Bichon, “Studley”, a loving childhood pet, was injured and whimpering in severe pain. Normally, staff would rush and have an attitude for making everyone stay at work 40 min. past closing. Not the loving staff working here!!! The professional staff and Vet took every precaution during examination and even drew blood to make sure his kidneys and liver were functioning adequately before giving him anti-inflammatories and pain medication. We were educated by the Vet, on all medications and even a couple of vitamins to consider giving my geriatric pet at home to possibly increase his lifespan and were further explained in a take home folder. I knew exactly what I would be paying because all prices were presented up front before performing them. As a RN, BS, BSN, I wish doctors who treat human patients, cared as much and treated them as well as Laura Cain, DVM and her staff treated our Studley.

This place was amazing! I love how you can reserve your spot online. I was greeted as soon as I got signed in and taken back to a room specific for cats. The vet tech was so kind and thorough. The vet came in and did a great exam and gave wonderful education. I was there for about 30 minutes which is like unheard of. They were kind and compassionate. Highly recommend!

I took my pit bull in for what I thought to be an uti. However it wasn't but he's still having the issues at this time but I believe they did all they could and gave him meds I believe will work and he was having bad pain which I'm hoping that will subside by tomorrow as meds go into his system. Staff is great. We was there about 1 hour or so and they are so on it and very caring techs. It's not cheap but if u love your fur baby then I highly recommend them. Very compassionate and helps ease you just as much as your pet. Thanks so much.. update my baby passed with the help of the vets. I didn't have the money for surgery and I had to take him back but his pain was great. They put my baby down but I know he's not suffering. They are very good at their jobs but I miss my boy so much.

My dog had an emergency after hours and needed to be seen asap. I thought she had a stroke and I was one panicked dog mom! I called these kind people and they told me to come on! They were so gentle and kind to my 13 year old baby and calmed my nerves as well. They were wonderful! Hopefully I won’t need them again but if I do, I am confident they will take good care of us again!!! Thank you guys! ❤️

I can't believe there is still so many caring people in one place. From the moment Gizmo and I walked through the door we were immediately put at ease even though I was a little bit concerned for the health of my puppy. Sam and her coworkers inclusive of the Doctor took our concerns all away . At the end of the visit I was convinced our problems certainly was resolved. We won't be going anywhere else which I had found them since we came onto long Island.

The staff & doctor were very informative of what was wrong with my cat. I’ve never had a cat before & they gave me Information I could read, also explained things to me. It was very quiet there in the room. Very clean. My cat even let them pick her up without a fight. She is very scared of new people & it really surprised me. So you know she must have trusted them. I would recommend this UrgentVet to anyone who needs urgent care for their pet.

Such kind honest people. They did not have an ultrasound with doppler and that is what my dog needed. They didn’t push additional expensive tests on me and eased my mind that my sweet old puppy would be find until his vet appointment in the morning. My dog is very anxious at vet appointments and is a big guy and they were so nice to him. 10/10 will recommend to all of my friends. You can tell the people here genuinely care.
