Back in October of 2024, my boyfriend and I’s 10 month old cat, Jonesy, suffered from a mysterious spinal injury that left him completely paralyzed. We were very scared to say the least and very limited on options when it came to money. UrgentVet at Westchase were OUTSTANDING! They were patient, understanding, and calm. They gave us options in regards to finances and did everything they could for Jonesy. They even stayed much later after closing to make sure Jonesy was able to be released and be home. They gave us tons of advice on how to deal with his sudden paralyzation, and it’s with much gratitude I say Jonesy is 100% recovered! Without UrgentVet, I don’t think we would have our cat anymore. We thank them so much!

This team was amazing, saved my Sweet Suede’s (canine) life when he was struggling with breathing. The techs were efficient and strong (95lb blue Staffy) to lift my dog to be cared for, 10/10, the Vet was exceptional in her knowledge and did a full work up on my dog, amazing professionals! Thank you ❤️

Came in late night around 10pm for my dog! Kenzie! I believe I’m spelling it right if not my apologies. But she was amazing! Positive attitude and such a nice welcoming warm feeling! She took very good care of my dog and his needs! Late night but still with a positive attitude! Thank you urgent vet for this amazing visit!

A++++ We were so thankful for Dr. Smith and her assistant(sorry, can’t remember name or title). As devastating as it was, Our geriatric beloved pup suffered a medical emergency and needed immediate help crossing the rainbow bridge. They attended to him without hesitation even though they were about to close. The utmost compassion showed was greatly appreciated. They gave us time not only to say good bye, but also time after the process to stay with our fur baby. Not once did they rush us. Highly recommend

My dog got into my blood pressure pills. This place was quick and calming as I was panicked. They induced vomiting and checked for pills. Then they asked if I had one with me to see how quickly it dissolves. Well the pill dissolved really quick so the took the next action to feed my dog charcoal to prevent any future absorption. Top notch, on the spot! Their sense of urgency was on par with the situation. Highly recommend.
