Our rare and wonderful Seppala Siberian Sleddog Lady underwent major surgery removing tumored left kidney and spleen , malignant left adrenal gland, and partial removal of liver cancerous tumor. The surgical team, techs, and staff all outstanding. She is now in continuing care with UF oncology for the bit of liver tumor that could not be removed and monitoring for possible other cancers. Sep 20, 2024 · Bob TiptonBright my husky in die to seizures. I'm this very scary time they made us feel comfort. The facility is superb but.... The staff (every single person I encountered) was absolutely amazing. If your animal needs help in ways the smaller places can't help....I strongly suggest this place.
Aug 20, 2024 · BrianWe took our dog to the emergency clinic on Saturday. The front desk lady was very nice also the 3rd year student was the same. The vet was ok . We were told the price for the services would be $300-$500.$500 if the optamaligest was called in. She came in was going to operate on him for the removal of both eyes as he has been blind about 4 months. As we left to go home to let our dog out, they called and told us that they couldn't do it because there was something wrong with his kidneys and he was anemic. Then to check out they charged us for an anesthesiologist that didn't do anything. We were there for 8 and a half hours. I think I would rather watch paint dry. We had to go up to the front desk about 6 times to either talk to the vet and 3 times to get checked out. Then we got a bill for $985 which is nuts. I don't think I have to tell anyone I will not be going there again.
Dec 22, 2024 · Jay BluestoneWe saw an ophthalmologist for our Great Dane at the clinic at the WEC. The clinic was very clean, nicely maintained. The staff was very nice. They were very friendly and helpful. The doctor and nurse handled him with such wonderful care. The staff and clinic staff were all extremely professional, the wait time was super minimal, and they were great with my dog. I couldn’t ask for anything more! The cost of the visit was very reasonable as well. We will definitely use them again in the future.
Jul 25, 2023 · Andrea WagnerIf there was a -star review this place would get it. Sat in the waiting area for hours observing the operation the whole time, ease dropping on conversations and i tell ya this is a terrible place that offers fake compassion. If you don't have a few thousand dollars don't even waste your time with this place. They come up with fake diagnosis, outrageous prices for services unrendered. This place is a giant ponzi scheme preying on sad vunerable people. They'll tell you anything to get that bank account. This place really needs to be investigated for fraud and animal abuse for allowing an animal to suffer because someone doesn't have the funds right away to pay.
Jan 01, 2025 · Up InYafaceI went here and they didn’t provide a data drive observation. Something I paid hundreds of dollars for. I came in for an eye exam for my cat. They gave no information on her eye and instead urged my to euthanize my cat. The doctor came in saying my cat is “decomposing” and said her liver will fail if she had eye surgery. My cat went to a vet day before and got all types of test. Her kidney is in healthy condition. They weren’t able to review up to date test for my cat but thought it was okay to provide that drastic thoughts. My cat was skinny because her mouth was half shut closed due to her eye infection dripping on her mouth. After giving my cat colloidal silver her mouth now opens and she has gained all her weight back. My cat is active, happy, and jumped 2 stories off my balcony the other day. She survived obviously, and walks normally. However, they wrote on the follow up to euthanize her. They provided no help. When i asked for refills on her medication they gave a weaker and different medicine and an extremely larger dose. For example, the medicine said to give 0.5 ml 2 times a day. They changed it to 1.5ml every other hour. In my eyes, trying to harm my cat. I don’t recommend this place. They also require all animals expect dogs to be in a carrier.. if dogs are the animals with bad behaviors shouldn’t they be ones in carriers? Over all, i didn’t get the test i came for, prescribed odd medicine, over charged, and was pushed to end my cats life even though she’s healthy and still alive now. meaning their thoughts and prognosis was wrong
