My cat Goober was 17 yrs old and she was in bad health. She had severe arthritis among other problems. I wanted her to not suffer and when I brought her in the Dr. assured me this was the right decision for her. Which that in itself was so wonderful . To know this was best for her was everything! They’re very professional, knowledgeable and kind. They explained everything to a t. I couldn’t have been more impressed with the Union Avenue Veterinary’ s team. We appreciate all you did to help my Goob kitty go in peace and be out of pain. I love these people! Thank you from the bottom of our heart! Patricia Serino

I have had such a good experience with this veterinarian service, especially with technician Krystal. She understands that our babies are just that, family. She even addresses me as “MOM“, though she knows my name. I have worked with two of the veterinarians that work there, and they are equally accommodating. I really loved the previous veterinarians (Jones) and was a little bit concerned when I learned that someone was taking over a decades-long practice, however, I have hope for this new team, as my dogs mean a lot to me. I have 2 Australian shepherds, one that is a year old, and one that is 11 years old, the veterinarians understand the difference in their ages, and give me recommendations that totally fit the dogs. They also were very accommodating when I had to euthanize my 13 year old German Shepherd.

Took our guinea pig here today. They were able to fit us in same day! The front desk staff are so friendly and welcoming. The doctor and his assistant were caring and gentle. Would definitely recommend and go back.

I have two 4 year old cats & one 5 month old German Shepard puppy of whom I've had since they were all just 8 weeks old. This is the only vet hospital they have ever been to, and we absolutely love it here! All the staff (reception included) have been amazing, nothing short of efficient & highly professional. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for service! 5 stars without a doubt! Thank you union Vet!

Quality of care has changed dramatically since we started with this clinic, and the willingness of the staff to work with you and your family's finances. Make sure you stay current on exams, bc if you need prescription food, something your animals have been on FOR YEARS, and you wouldnt be paying astronomical prescription food costs if you didn't have to, this clinic is not willing to work with you to schedule a future exam to be able to secure food now for your pets ("family"). If you're looking for more than just a clinic to take your pets to, and spend your money, this is not the place, look elsewhere. Edited 04/22/25: Hmmm, you must be confusing me with another client who experienced this same frustration, because I specifically asked your rep on the phone if we could be seen at a later date. While you are correct and that exam reminders were sent they did not mention that the pets food supply would be cut off without an up to date exam. The rep even checked with the vet to get permission to approve the food order and schedule a future visit, for when I had available finances, less than 1 month later (I don't believe that is an unreasonable request). I was called back and told NO. You were not wiling to schedule a future appointment nor work with me, or suggest any possible solutions. I appreciate you sending my 3 pet records, look forward to finding a more understanding and accommodating clinic to spend my money with, and truly hope others don't have the same experience as I have. Once again, I STRONGLY encourage all pet lovers to look elsewhere.
