Turkey Creek Animal Hospital

I have been coming to see Dr dehaven for over 10 years and I lost my soul dog this year and got another sweetheart and brought her to Dr. David immediately. Never have a question or service and their empathy and their understanding and their ideas. I have gone as far as flying from Washington to Plant City. Just so my senior dog Doug could see Dr. Heaven because she knows him so well. The staff and Dr. Nash and Dr. Ferrera are all equally amazing. Please do not look over this vet. They are kind generals, very intelligent souls

My husband and I took our two rescue cats to Turkey Creek Animal Hospital today. They were seen by Dr. Michelle Ferrara. She is excellent! I want to have her everytime we go in! Outstanding veterinarian!

Fabulous group of vets and staff. It's obvious every one who works here loves animals and is truly interested in each family pet living their best life. They are very flexible with trying to get your pet worked in to a schedule immediately if the need is urgent. The pricing is very reasonable and they offer multiple options {in most cases} on ways that the problem can be approached. Sadly our dog was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. Dr. Dehaven couldn't have been more compassionate or informative when delivering the news. We feel blessed that Turkey Creek Animal Hospital is here to support us during the next few months of Rocky's life.

I would HIGHLY recommend this facility! I came here for a scheduled after life care for a family pet. The doctor (I believe Nash) was SO professional and laid out all of the options and made it SUPER affordable. We ultimately chose her offer for “hospice care” which just meant give my dog the medicine without all of the bloodwork testing ect because we already knew and confirmed she had congestive heart failure so the vets main goal was to make our Marley dog as comfortable as possible for the timeline given of less than a year. Unfortunately the pharmacy they used of “blue rabbit” delayed our medication and Marley went a whole day Xmas day without her medication.. we immediately went to turkey creek the next morning and picked up more meds to hold us over while that pharmacy shipped her meds. Unfortunately, Marley’s condition was so bad and going a full day without her medicine caused her to deteriorate rapidly and organs fail. We ultimately had to put her down because her quality of life was going to be so poor IF she even made it through the organ failures she was having.. While it is unfortunate on the delay of the pharmacy meds this office was HANDS DOWN so accommodating from the second opinion which allowed us to spend Xmas with our Marley and so caring understanding and helpful when the decision had to be made. Truly honest people who have your pets best interests in mind! Unfortunately the world we live in it’s hard to come by honesty and trust someone’s words but this WILL be my vet of choice and I can confidently know whatever they say is whole heartedly and truthful. Great team ALL AROUND!

I rescued a pitty mix in September and decided Turkey Creek would be his vet based on experiences my mom has had there. When I made the appointment I was so nervous since my sweet boy doesn’t really like other animals and they made sure the lobby was cleared so he would be comfortable. We saw Doctor Nash for our wellness exam and she was wonderful. Very thorough in her questions and listened and responded so well to any of mine. I recently had to take my boy back for an urgent care visit where they were able to fit me in same day and even worked with my schedule for the timing of the appointment. We saw Doctor Ferrera this time and she was able to ease my worries and walk me through a game plan for treating him. I even received a call this morning checking on how he’s doing! Everyone I have ever encountered at Turkey Creek has made me and my pups feel so welcomed and heard. They truly care about your pets and I’m so thankful to have them to care for my baby!
