My husband and I's cat passed away and we called about getting him cremated. The lovely ladies were very professional and answered all our questions. The turn around time was fast as well only took us about a week to get him back. Very inexpensive. We also got a clay paw print of his as well as a golden plaque on top of his cremation box with his name on it. The ladies went above and beyond and when I say that I really mean it. They sent our little family a card with Jasper on the front extending their condolences and personally each signing the card for out family. I highly recommend true north and will definitely be using them as our vet from now on.

While specific details on every service might vary, a Pet Hospital of this caliber typically provides:
Wellness & Preventative Care: This forms the foundation of their practice, including routine physical examinations, customized vaccination protocols to protect against common diseases, and comprehensive preventative packages. The aim is to proactively manage pet health, detect issues early, and prevent illnesses.
Diagnostic Services: Equipped with tools for accurate diagnosis, such services would typically include in-house laboratory testing (e.g., blood work, urinalysis, fecal analysis), and potentially imaging services like X-rays and ultrasound to assess internal conditions and injuries.
Internal Medicine: Addressing a wide range of medical conditions affecting various organ systems, including chronic diseases, infections, and other internal ailments.
Surgical Procedures: Performing a variety of surgical interventions, such as routine spaying and neutering, soft tissue surgeries, and potentially some orthopedic procedures. Advanced anesthesia and pain management protocols would be in place to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Dental Care: Comprehensive dental services, including professional dental cleanings, extractions, and oral examinations, are crucial for maintaining a pet's overall health and preventing periodontal disease.
Emergency & Urgent Care: Providing immediate medical attention for pets facing critical illnesses or injuries during operational hours. For after-hours emergencies, they would likely provide guidance or referrals to 24-hour emergency veterinary facilities.
Pain Management: Offering strategies to manage both acute and chronic pain, utilizing a range of pharmaceutical and potentially complementary therapies to enhance a pet's comfort and quality of life.
Nutritional Counseling: Expert advice on dietary needs, weight management, and therapeutic diets tailored to a pet's specific health condition or life stage.
Microchipping: Offering permanent identification through microchipping, which significantly increases the chances of reuniting lost pets with their families.
End-of-Life Care and Bereavement Services: This is a particularly strong feature of True North Veterinary Hospital, highlighted by customer reviews. They provide compassionate support for pets nearing the end of their lives, including euthanasia services. Beyond medical care, their involvement in cremation services, including personalized touches like clay paw prints and condolence cards, demonstrates their dedication to supporting grieving pet owners through the entire process, from final goodbyes to memorialization.

Jul 27, 2024 · Naomi DDr. Kate, Dr. Goldberg who saw Lola, and the rest of the staff at True North are not only experienced. They are patient, dedicated, respectful animal lovers and I trust them to care for our most loyal companion on this planet. Thank you for always treating our pup with love and respect. She is never nervous during an exam and was even low wagging her tail while Dr.Golberg was trying repeatedly to draw blood. That speaks to the type of environment you provide at True North. Even the animals feel "ok" at their doctor's. Thank you!!
May 02, 2023 · Andrea ScalaTrue north, it's an excellent place to bring your furry family friends. I had my Molly dog with them for many, many years. Tragically, Molly had a stroke just before her 14th birthday. The vet was so compassionate when I called and offered to come to our home to help Molly. We were able to spend one more day with her, and she was comfortable in her own surroundings with her cat while she passed. It cost a bit extra, but it was so incredibly worth it to me. She also made a clay cast of Molly's paw print. They were very compassionate about paying the bill for her euthanasia as well. My mother had recently passed away, and the thought of driving away with her ashes in the seat next to me was still haunting me. It took me six months to finally go pick up molly's ashes. I knew that was a very long time, but they never made me feel bad about it. Thank you True North veterinary hospital. I will continue using you for my furry friends. I'm now ready for a new dog.
