Are you hesitant to make the switch to a new clinic for exotics care? Don't be!! Dr. Bjornebo is one of the tip top very best reptile vets out here. I am very glad she finally has her own clinic, and even though it is a drive for me (I live in peoria) it is 100% worth it for the knowledge and skill she posesses. Specialists make a world of a difference. She has been taking care of my dozens of scaley critters for over 5 years now and shes the best at what she does. She is very knowledgeable about tons of species of reptiles and amphibians, (heck, even invertebrates and any and all kinds of creepy crawlies!) and I trust her with my 6 various species of large constrictors, and dont have to worry about them getting hurt by mishandling, or anyone getting bit. She always has an educational answer for you, and always made me laugh whenever I saw her in office. She's truly a gem! Thank you for taking such good care of them! Congratulations on the new office, Bj! It's beautiful! So glad I have a place that I can take these big kiddos to that is knowledgeable of the species, and understanding/kind! (not even just Bjornebo, her staff as well!)

Dr Bjornebo is one of the most knowledgeable and caring exotic veterinarians in the Phoenix area. We have been taking our bunnies to her for years and are so excited to be able to visit her at her own practice. Highly recommend her and her team for care of exotic pets!

Phenomenal exotics specialist and surgeon. She took excellent care of our rhinoceros rat snake wil ultrasound, facial abscess on our eastern diamondback, and mass removal on our green iguana. Can't express the amount of relief and excitement I have to use Dr. B and her hospital for all our exotics needs in the future, even the most difficult cases.

Not our usual vet but we had to call and schedule a last minute emergency appointment as our beloved guy was showing very distressing signs. Upon arrival he was immediately taken back for stabilization and treated with the utmost care. Unfortunately he didn’t make it but the staff and Dr B broke the news in such a respectful and compassionate way. They stayed with us after closing while the rest of the family drove out to say our last goodbyes. While the tragedy of his passing will always be with us; the compassion, respect, and handling of the situation will be as well. Thank you Dr B and all of the staff, you made the differences you could and that’s not overlooked. I highly recommend Tree of Life and will be switching our other reptiles care to them.

A rescued desert tortoise was taken to Dr Bjornebo after months of neglect, improper medical care, and subpar living conditions. She really took her time to evaluate the situation and provide proper pain control prior to even attempting a thorough exam as to not further injure this kiddo. I really, really appreciated this since this guy had been through enough. After removal of the poorly placed epoxy patch, he was found to have multiple different...hitchhikers under the dead shell underneath. After the insects were removed, Bjornebo monitored him for any signs of shock or distress. He appeared to be doing well and was sent home with medications! This guy is now living his best life in a huge outdoor area with plenty of grass and sunshine. Dr. B and her staff are a godsend to reptile owners. The combination of her extensive knowledge and compassion for these sweet creatures is un matched. 10/10 recommend.
