The Pet Mechanic Fishtown

I'm not going to write bad reviews of the other veterinary offices in this neighborhood, but I will say that not one of them treated us with kindness, professionalism, and dignity the way that the doctors and staff at The Pet Mechanic did. We have had 2 great experiences with them handling our loving house cat who unfortunately turns into a little demon at the vet since she smells the other animals and gets nervous. They handle her so well and uncomplainingly, which sounds like a basic expectation of an animal-based business, but it unfortunately was hard to find. Have already recommended them to friends and can recommend them unreservedly. Lucky they are in our neighborhood.

Pet Mechanic is wonderful! Our dog is incredibly nervous about the vet (likely due to some bad experiences prior to starting at pet mechanic) and they have been so understanding and accommodating. Each time we’ve gone for a visit, they take every small step to make sure she is as comfortable as possible and have worked with us to make her care as stress free as possible. I cannot thank them enough!

The Pet Mechanic is the best vet I have ever been to. Everyone is so wonderful from the receptionists to the techs and the doctors. They go above and beyond to take care of our dog and cats and make them feel safe and comfortable. They make sure to find an affordable option while still provided the highest quality care. We will never take our animals anywhere else and give the highest recommendation possible for this amazing veterinary practice.

Always feel that my cats receive comprehensive care here and the staff has always been helpful with answering any questions I have. Dr. Foley and Dr. Harris have done great work with all of Gerald’s tooth problems. Recently I had to drop Peter off before finding parking (my car AC died midway and he was panting) and they set him up in a room and gave him churus and pets til he calmed down. Very grateful

This vet always takes great care of my two cats. I've been coming to this vet for at least 6 years and the staff and doctors are always very kind and compassionate with the animals in addition to providing good vet services at fair prices.
