The Pet Hospitals Poplar at Massey

I usually go to the downtown location, but this was my first time visiting the Poplar location due to an emergency reschedule on the same day. To my surprise, the experience at Poplar was excellent! The environment is clean and welcoming, and I especially liked the spacious treatment room with a comfortable long chair and a selection of books. The staff were friendly and helpful, and Dr. Marion Welsh was wonderful—she’s not only sweet and professional but also a true cat lover! She even prepared a bag of treats for my boy and provided me with a detailed health report that I never had before. I’m really impressed and plan to transfer my future appointments to this location!

There are not enough wonderful things to say about Dr. Pirtle! She goes above and beyond for her patients. I genuinely feel heard & seen and that she has my animals best interest at heart. It’s such a piece of mind knowing that we have a doctor that truly cares. She is also incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. Plus, her assistant Kellen was so patient and kind with my new puppy Ruby. We pulled her from the shelter a little less than two months ago and she has been a little skittish unfamiliar spaces. He has a gentle aura about him and really put her at ease. So grateful for them both & the front desk staff were super nice as well!😊

Everyone at the Pet Hospitals is so kind and dedicated! My Charlie was definitely anxious, but Sophia and Dr. Graham were very understanding. They brought him treats and a Churu treat while he adjusted to the new environment. They were even patient enough to let us come back another day (after some anxiety medicine). I would definitely recommend the Pet Hospitals to any other cat paw-rent!

The staff and doctors have always been incredibly friendly and understanding, I’ve never been made to wait very long to check in, and the pricing for e.g. kitten vaccinations and nail trims has been very fair and reasonable. The facilities are also always very neat, clean, and tidy. Oh also it’s been super easy to book/reschedule appointments online with the chat feature, which I really appreciate—not a fan of phone calls lol.

Dr. Graham and Dr. Hawkins are both amazing! my kitty was experiencing a blockage, and he wasn’t looking so good. we had a very strict budget with only so much we could do, they worked with us to the best of their ability. with their help, a few weeks later my baby is recovering so greatly and getting back to normal, they saved his life. i am so grateful i came here, amazing doctors that care about animals and such sweet receptionists as well. thank you guys so much 🙏
