The Cat Hospital of Media

I had a wonderful experience! Kind and knowledgeable staff, excellent service, price conscious, wonderful with my cat, clean & comfortable rooms. They give time to allow the cat to check out the room, with just you! This made my little guy much more relaxed than i anticipated. I can't say enough how wonderful the staff and service are here!

Our cat has some medications she needs to take routinely, and was wearing a cone due to a recent procedure. This was 3 years ago. The staff were instructed to remove the cone every day and to help clean the area. We left all of her medicines, extra cones and treats with the front staff. The staff said they would ensure all of this was done. When we picked up our cat, we found out that they had kept in her in the cone 100% of the time. Her cone was covered in vomit, feces and she was chafing underneath. While she did receive her medication, they skipped some days because "it was busy". I have never been so angry at a business before, and how dare they claim to give medical care to cats in their care. If you care about your pet, especially a pet with medical issues - DO NOT send them here. EDIT: To reply to their reply - our cat had had a total ear canal removal. You may say “you didn’t have it written down”, but logic kinda dictates that you wouldn’t have a cats surgical cone filled with litter/vomit/feces. Why wasn’t it it cleaned? Why wasn’t literal feces next to a healing surgical wound noticed? And yes, we did tell you multiple times to change out her cones, we left 2 extra cones for you to change her into.

I took my one cat BonBon who seems to be suffering from anxiety since the passing of my husband. Her litter mate has taken to be the controlling alpha cat and BonBon has become a loner. She was definitely my husband's cat. The doctor sat with me and discussed at great length what could be happening and prescribed a medication and recommended that I give BonBon her own box and space. I was so impressed with the time the doctor took with me. I could tell she really cared and wants to help her. I was also very impressed with the technician who was extremely efficient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend The Cat Hospital of Media.

New to the area and was looking for a new provider for an issue my cat was having, so I figured I’d try here as they treat cats only! I was impressed by how thorough the doctor was and they even text you the next day to check in. So glad I found a place I could trust :)

I recently had my first experience with The Cat Hospital of Media, and I am thrilled I found them. I have two tabby cats, and we have just moved from Florida to Pennsylvania. One of the cats got hurt, and had to have a check-up after having an abcess drained on his leg. The other needed to update a shot. The Dr., assistants, office staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Not only did they pamper Sam and Lucy, but they also took the time to make me feel comfortable.
