The Cat Doctor is the most wonderful veterinary office in Atlanta. I simply cannot thank them enough for the services they have provided to both of my cats, especially my elderly cat with multiple autoimmune issues. They are so caring, so thorough, quick to get back with you, and always call to follow up on how my cats are doing. The office staff is the sweetest. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my babies! I had a really bad experience (lack of care / manners / no follow-up etc.) with my previous vet and they had even advised for euthanasia. That's when I went to The Cat Doctor for a second opinion. It was a day and night difference - the staff here is so respectful, caring and understanding. They do timely follow-up, provide quick response, communicated well to help me educate... just overall really helpful in every way. Even my cat was so comfortable going over to this vet. I really appreciate Dr. Tharpe and everyone in the team at The Cat Doctor for taking care of my cat, as any pet owner would want to. I highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough good things about The Cat Doctor! My tuxedo cat hadn’t had a proper annual exam in almost two years because he was always deemed too aggressive. I was repeatedly instructed to give him increasing doses of gabapentin before each visit, but it never seemed to help—and he was always sent back home without a thorough examination. As he’s now almost 17, I was beyond frustrated and worried about his health. That’s when I decided to take him to The Cat Doctor, and the difference was night and day! The environment was incredibly calming, and he was more relaxed than I’ve ever seen him at a vet. The team was not only able to do a full exam and bloodwork, but they also trimmed all his nails and, most importantly, finally started him on treatment for osteoarthritis in his back. I’m so grateful for the patience and expertise at The Cat Doctor—this is where he’ll be going from now on, and I’ll be bringing my other cat here as well!

After doing some labs and assessing the needs of our two cats, we had their teeth cleaned and were advised that some extractions would be necessary. The entire support team as well as Dr. B were patient, thoughtful and knowledgeable and we knew our cats were in the best possible hands. The follow up call to see how they were doing the day after the procedure was a wonderful touch, both girls are thriving and currently living their best lives thanks to The Cat Doctor.

The Cat Doctor offers a welcoming atmosphere for cats and their owners. Comfortable seating, snacks available while waiting. The staff is competent and caring. I highly recommend this excellent veterinary.
