Everyone at this animal hospital is very kind and empathetic. My regular vet was out today, and they were able to take me last minute to put my old baby to sleep. They were gentle and respectful, and my baby was kindly laid to rest. I'm very thankful to them.

My dog is Absolutely terrified of the vet. Terry Pkwy animal hospital did a wonderful job. They made accommodations for my dog’s annual exam. They are compassionate people with patience and hearts of GOLD. They really do love animals, even the scared ones. After YEARS of horrific vet visits, I finally found the right people! All of my pets.. and several rescues on their way to their furever homes... have been patients of Dr. Salles for 12 years. Not only patients... but friends. Dr. Salles and his staff go above and beyond for our babies. They care about them as if they were their own. The care they receive is top notch. I have learned so much from Dr. Salles because he takes the time to talk to us as pet parents and explain things. We were new to Nola when we found Dr. Salles... I had left my cat’s insulin in a refrigerator during Gustav evacuation and he didn’t bat an eye when my husband walked in with the box and said we needed help. I could tell a thousand stories about how lucky my pets are to be his patients. Even during the hardest time.. when it comes time to let go... you feel as if you are among family.

I have been taking my pets here for over 20 years. I wouldn’t go anywhere where else. He gives the best care. Has great techs that work well with all pets. Let’s see. He has seen me through 2 Rottweilers. 1 German Shepard. 2 Shepard mixes. 1 beagle. All have passed over the rainbow bridge. But lived a great life due to his great vet care. Currently I have a tabby cat and Japanese chin. Both love going there. You will not be disappointed in the care given. He has his own ear concoction used on one of my babies.
