Her assistant was rude and talked over me when I attempted to stop her reading the plan of care for my 16 year old cat. Almost 500 dollars was crazy to me for labs ie:thyroid function. I will take him back to Appalachian Animal clinic where I should have taken him to start with. Unless you have alot of money to spend go somewhere else this is my opinion.

Under the guidance of Dr. Rogers and her team, this clinic operates as a vital resource within the "Pet Hospital" category, providing a spectrum of services designed to keep your beloved animals healthy and happy. You can reach them by phone at (423) 551-6474 or +1 423-551-6474.

As a "Pet Hospital," Tennessee Valley Veterinary Clinic provides a broader range of services than a limited-service clinic, aiming to address various medical needs, from routine preventative care to more urgent or diagnostic procedures. This full-service approach ensures that pet owners have a consistent and reliable option for their animal's healthcare requirements, fostering a long-term relationship built on trust and understanding.

The **environment** at Tennessee Valley Veterinary Clinic is a topic of varied, yet insightful, feedback from customers. While one review points to a perceived issue with an assistant's communication style, another provides a starkly positive contrast, highlighting the staff's extreme friendliness and impressive care. This suggests that the clinic generally strives to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere, with the goal of making both pets and their owners feel at ease. The ability to accommodate urgent cases, even close to closing time, as highlighted by a satisfied customer, speaks to their dedication to providing timely care when pets are unwell. This responsiveness contributes significantly to an environment where pet owners feel supported and that their pet's health needs are a priority. The commitment to providing a "complete estimate of everything she recommends" also plays a role in creating an environment of transparency and trust, allowing owners to make informed decisions about their pet's treatment plan.

When it comes to **services**, Tennessee Valley Veterinary Clinic offers a range of medical provisions crucial for pet well-being. Based on customer reviews, these clearly include:

  • Routine Examinations and Wellness Checks: Essential for monitoring a pet's overall health and catching potential issues early.
  • Blood Work and Diagnostics: Critical for future diagnoses, as mentioned in a review. This indicates they perform various laboratory tests, likely including thyroid function tests, as hinted by a customer's comment about lab costs. These diagnostics are vital for understanding a pet's internal health and identifying specific conditions.
  • Vaccinations: While not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews, as a "Pet Hospital," vaccinations are a standard and fundamental offering for preventative care, protecting pets from common diseases.
  • Urgent and Sick Pet Appointments: The positive review specifically mentions that the clinic was able to see a sick pup when their regular vet couldn't, even accommodating them close to closing. This highlights their capacity to handle urgent care needs for animals that aren't feeling well.
  • Treatment Plans: The clinic provides detailed plans of care, although the clarity and delivery of these plans can be subject to individual experiences, as seen in the contrasting customer feedback. The intent, however, is to provide a roadmap for the pet's recovery or ongoing health management.

While the provided information does not detail surgical procedures, dental care, or other advanced services, as a facility categorized under "Pet Hospital," it is reasonable to infer that they offer a more comprehensive suite of veterinary care, including but not limited to the services explicitly mentioned in the reviews.

Several **features** of Tennessee Valley Veterinary Clinic stand out, as evidenced by customer experiences. A significant feature is their responsiveness and ability to accommodate urgent cases, even on short notice. The instance where they saw a sick pup arriving only 30 minutes before closing speaks volumes about their dedication to patient care. Another crucial feature is their commitment to transparency in pricing and treatment recommendations. The positive review specifically highlights that the clinic provides a "complete estimate of everything she recommends, but gives you the freedom to approve or deny anything that you so choose." This empowers pet owners to make informed decisions that align with both their pet's needs and their financial considerations. This transparency is a key differentiator for many pet owners. The generally reported friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, particularly Dr. Rogers, are also strong features that contribute to a positive overall experience. However, it's also worth noting that the clinic's pricing, particularly for labs, might be perceived as high by some clients, as indicated by one review. This suggests that while transparency is offered, the costs themselves might be a point of consideration for some pet owners, especially when comparing to other local options.

Regarding **promotional information**, while specific, real-time deals or ongoing promotions are not detailed in the provided snippets, the very nature of their transparent pricing and flexible approval process can be seen as a form of client-focused promotion. By offering detailed estimates and allowing owners to "approve or deny anything that you so choose," they are essentially promoting their commitment to empowering clients and avoiding hidden costs. This transparency, in itself, can be a significant draw for pet owners. Furthermore, for a clinic that receives praise for its care and prices, word-of-mouth promotion from satisfied customers, as exemplified by the positive review, is a powerful tool. They have clearly made a strong positive impression on at least one new client who believes they have "found a perfect new doctor for our fur family members!" This kind of organic endorsement is invaluable. Pet owners seeking specific offers or more detailed pricing can always contact Tennessee Valley Veterinary Clinic directly at (423) 551-6474 or +1 423-551-6474, or visit their location at 8908 Hiwassee St, Charleston, TN 37310, USA. Huge thank you to Dr. Rogers and her staff!! Our regular vet wasn’t able to see our pup who wasn’t feeling well this afternoon. My husband and I just happened to find out about this clinic the other day, so he took a chance and called them- they told us that we could come in (even though I would be arriving approximately 30 minutes before closing). They were extremely friendly, got him all taken care of for the night, and did bloodwork for future diagnosis. I was thoroughly impressed with their care, prices, and how they give you a complete estimate of everything she recommends, but gives you the freedom to approve or deny anything that you so choose. I believe we have found a perfect new doctor for our fur family members!
