I am deeply disappointed by the care my dog received during her stay. When I dropped her off, she was healthy, but when I picked her up, I was shocked to discover wounds on her nose and both sides of her mouth. It was clear that she had been in distress, and to make matters worse, she hadn’t eaten during her time there. I brought enough food to last for 10 days, but we picked her up a day earlier than planned, and they returned a full 4 days’ worth of food. We had specifically requested to be informed immediately if there were any issues with her, yet no one reached out to us, leaving us in the dark about her well-being. We reached out and were told she was good. Then, a family member went to ask for her, and they provided her with a picture, from which we could tell she was placed in a small cage which is not where we were shown that she would be staying. We tried calling them, and they didn't answer calls or text messages for an entire day. When they finally returned the call the next day after being threatened that we would call the authorities, they said they were short on staff. It raises the question: is receiving payment prioritized over our pets' health and happiness? They saw that my dog was suffering yet chose not to contact us, which is simply unacceptable. This situation has left me disappointed and worried about how she was treated while in their care.

I have taken my 3 dogs and cat here since moving here in the spring. I boarded my dogs for 4 days and the girls who took care of them seemed very nice. There is one receptionist who is very pleasant but the others have no personality, just all business. I thought their prices were very high but it was conveniently located. I asked for an estimate for 2 of my dogs for dental, that’s when I decided to go to another vet. The quotes were very high and I had been told by more than 1 person they were all about the money, always pushing for more to be done. Previously I asked how much it would be to get rabies shot for my cat, $100, took him to a rabies clinic. Estimates for my dogs dentals were hundreds less and the place I took them came very highly recommended.

Dr Mercado was so great! She was gentle and gave us options on how to proceed to make our dog feel better. I highly recommend this animal hospital. We've already seen improvements in our 15.5 year old chihuahua! Thanks so much!!

We needed an appointment for our sick dog and since we just moved we didn’t have a vet yet. I called and they took us in the same afternoon. The staff was so friendly and the Dr. very caring about our dog’s health. Highly recommend!

We felt very comfortable from the time we walked in until we left. The doctor and staff were very professional, informative and friendly. We have chosen to have our let’s surgery done at Tails A Waggin.
