I reached out to TAGS last week because my cat needed dental work done and my own vet's prices were way more than I could handle at the moment. When I spoke to Dr. Nastro, he let me know that the blood work I had forwarded to him indicated that she was not a good candidate for dental work at the moment because there were other, more serious issues at play. My own vet had suggested this to me but had not really laid out for me how serious the issues potentially were. Dr. Nastro was kind enough to walk through the issues with me on the phone and seemed to understand that I would make better decisions about how to spend my limited funds if I had a full and complete picture of the science going on. Sadly, my little girl didn't make it through the week due to a failing liver, but had it not been for the guidance he provided, it would have been a much more difficult week for both of us than it was. The clarity and kindness that he offered over the phone gave me the information that I needed to guide my decisions in the ER and, for that, I'll be forever grateful. Though I don't wish dental or other surgical issues on my other cat, if she ever has them I will definitely be making the trip up to Santa Clarita because this energy is everything I'm looking for in a vet.

Jan 16, 2025 · Austin SuttonI had to put down my 18 year old dog lily, and the people who worked there were so kind. They gave her a sleeper shot, and we were able to stay with Lily in our car until until our tears ran out.
Jan 30, 2025 · Johnny RosalesI have always loved this place. My family has taken many dogs here for a variety of reasons. Everything has been done so quickly, easily and with minimal cost. And everyone there is just so kind! They were experts with one rather aggressive dog of ours who needed a shot and once gave us a free treatment for a stray we had just found. I recently took my mother’s two dogs to get rabies shots and I was presently surprised to find out that the shots are free on Mondays! I was in and out with the dogs in 15 minutes. It was so fast and I was with the dogs the whole time. No stress for the three of us!
Jan 18, 2025 · Siri BookaniGreat care! I had my two French Bulldogs Spade. All went perfect for one but the other had some issues. Even though Dr. Nastro was out of town he called and assured the all was good and checked her out upon his return at no charge. Today both girls are doing great and behaving just like...bulldogs! Thank you Tags! Thank you,
