My horse was not sweating at all. Not even 24 hours after his first acupuncture session this is what he looked like! Thank goodness for TCVM and for Sunny Coast Vet! We are extremely blessed to have such amazing services locally that help HEAL the horse and not just put a 'bandaid' on it. THANK YOU!!!!! I am also a trainer and deal with many client's horses and have met horses who were not having a training issue but a physical issue or a physical issue that was preventing proper training and other vets had seen these horses and nobody could figure out what was wrong but I sent them to Sunny Coast vet and they got the answers they needed and help for the horse and answers to questions they've had about things for a long time. Like a big puzzle coming together. With TCVM you will get the answers you need because it looks at the whole horse and at what is blocking them from functioning properly. Call them today- you will not be disappointed!!

Oct 04, 2024 · Devon RofflerDr John Connick treated my 1.5yr old mini donkey, as he was on call for Dr Carla. He incorrectly, diagnosed her with laminitis, Cushings, and locked stifle, running my bill up to over $4,000 in a month, which Dr Carla happily accepted payment for. However, when I got a 2nd opinion because she wasn’t getting any better, and was actually getting weaker, and contacted Dr Carla with the information that he misdiagnosed and and gave instructions that would harm her instead of help her- to settle things financially,, she refused to make things right. Do not trust him to treat your equines! Check his license with the state of FL as well.
Feb 09, 2025 · Shay DoernerI have used Sunny Coast Veterinary since 2012. Dr Carla is a brilliant veterinarian. She's incredibly intuitive and educated. I feel her approach is always from a place of true experience and in the best interest of the horse. Her knowledge of commonly misdiagnosed disease is incredible. She is highly skilled in disease and lameness and truly loves her job. I recommend Dr Carla to all my clients.
Oct 15, 2021 · Abi 11The best equine vet ever! Carla has always been there when needed, and saved our horse's life. She and her staff have always been reliable, knowledgeable and all around amazing! i would not go anywhere else for my horses care even for routine and annual vaccinations, I am confident in the quality of her work and her supplies. She stays up-to-date on new technologies, merging them with current and classic approaches to get the best for each animal treated. she is simply the best.
Oct 22, 2017 · Luanne PowersDr Carla and Dr Kayla are some of the Greatest doctors to work with my horses. Sunny coast veterinary has been working on my horse duke for over 10 years now. Unfortunately, This morning was a very sad morning after deciding to do one last good thing for my horse, duke. Dr Kayla came out and took me threw the process step by step. What I loved about her was that she was very personable and professional which made me stay strong and not cry during the euthanasia, which was what I wanted. I was able to give him kisses, and lots of love as he was going down and he went out perfectly and peacefully. Horse euthanasias are tough but I couldn't have played it out anymore perfectly in my head. Thanks to all the great people that practice medicine at this practice. I highly recommend!
