The entire staff at Sugar Creek Animal Hospital are excellent. Dr. Ames is the veterinarian and owner. He is kind, personable and very knowledgeable. He does not try an oversell his services like so many of his competitors. If you need a top notch veterinarian to take care of your animal's needs, look no further.

I was looking for a vet that would take in rabbits and was lucky enough to come across Sugar Creek. Kaitlyn is awesome and was such a great help getting us scheduled for our first visit! Dr. Ames is the best and has managed to hire such a great team of people that care for your pet! I truly appreciate the patience and care Dr. Ames and his staff had for my bunny! Great bedside manner!!

This is the best vet around!! Dr. Ames is the most compassionate vet I’ve ever met, and you can tell he really cares about your animals! The only regret you will have, is not finding him sooner! Amazing practice and would highly recommend!! Jenna is also amazing! She works so well with our shy senior dog. The entire staff is friendly and always willing to help!

Dr. Josh and his staff are amazing!! We took our bunny in for an ear infection and our kitty in for a URI and they took awesome care of both of them!! They started feeling better right away after started on meds. Dr Josh is super patient with us and our fur kids. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back to bring our other fur kids!

This was our first visit and everyone was so nice. They were able to hold our 98 lb GSD still long enough to take X-rays without sedating him, and he wasn't overly stressed out afterwards. Not an easy task - he's very strong. It was great getting answers so quickly without needing to be referred elsewhere. Thanks! In the picture: Max was a fan of the low windows on the doors.
