We were hesitant to return after the awful experience we had last year, but we knew it was on the vet, not the facility. I had been told by many people to see Dr. Helms as he was absolutely amazing, and he certainly was!!! He put our pit Lucy to ease for all the things she had to have done, and didn't make any snide or unnecessary comments about her breed. She was a bit scared at first, but they were best friends by the time everything was done. He answered the questions we had without making us feel rushed.

Another long-term customer mentioned that Stone Ridge Animal Care has been caring for their four dogs and one cat for years, indicating consistent service over time. Great vet. They've been caring for our 4 dogs and one cat for years. The only negative keeping from a 5 star rating, is that their prices have increased quite a bit over the past year or so, but who hasn't I guess.

I've tried calling for the past 3 weeks. Everytime I'm put on hold. I completely understand being busy. What I don't understand is why after being put on hold, I hear someone pick up (you can hear voices in the background) and then hang up. This has happened multiple times. First time was 10 minutes. 2nd and 3rd time was 15 minutes so it's not the holding service timing out. If you dont want to take calls, simply unplug your phones. Extremely unprofessional. After talking to a few others, this is a common occurrence.

Dr. Helms and the entire staff are top-notch. When my dog, Auggie, was diagnosed with cancer, Dr. Helms was so compassionate and allowed time to discuss my questions as well as be a part of his care plan. We had to let him go only 5 months later but I’ll never be able to thank Dr. Helms enough for his compassion.

A special thank you to Dr.Jessie, and vet tech Brooke for helping my sweet little Aggie, at 15 1/2 years old, cross over that rainbow 🌈 bridge Saturday morning April the 8th. You both helped to make a sad morning a little easier. Thanks for taking good care of my pets over the years.(You too Dr. Helms)
