If you love your pet, DO NOT EVER take them to see Dr. Gandler at Sterling Veterinary Associates in Stratford, NJ. Cookie was taken to the vet on 1/27/2025 to get checked out. She was lashing out at my mom and having other complications. This vet took my mom's money and told her that Cookie was completely healthy. I saw Cookie on 1/28/2025 and her stomach was distended, her legs weren't working properly and the lumps on her belly were just labeled as "fat packs". Im angry that I didn't push for her to go somewhere else because she is gone now. On 2/11/2025, my mom called that Cookie was not eating and was laying around not moving. She rushed Cookie to a vet urgent care where she was diagnosed with a severe infection due to endometriosis and most likely wouldn't survive. Within less than 24 hours, Cookie passed away. She was loved and cared for. She did not deserve that horrible ending to her life because of neglect from a person that was supposed to help her. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS VET. Our hearts are broken and the more I think of it the angrier I am. I see good reviews for this company and maybe it's because my mom wasn't yt but Cookie deserved better.

I can only describe the staff who work here as angels on earth. From the young women who work the front , Krystal, Doctor G… Im literally speechless as to how amazing this team has always been when my pets have been sick. They have brought them back many times. I have been taking my 2 dogs here for over a decade and this week I received bad news for my Chulo boy. Today I ultimately had to put him down as his condition worsened. One of the hardest things i have ever done in my life. I cannot describe how compassionate, loving, professional, and supportive they have been over the years. I am so touched by the care over the years and how they have treated my pets as their own. This is the BEST place you could EVER take your animal. My Chulo baby passed in my arms and he left fast and peaceful. Fly high My Chulo Boy , Daddy loves you always. PS. Special thanks to Krystal❤️ you have simply touched my heart during one the hardest points in my life and for that I am truly blessed and I will always remember. I hope you know how much that really meant to me and Franco

This is the best vet you will find. Dr. Gandler not only performed surgery on my pug, but also saved my labs life from diabetes. He has also performed my four dogs checkups very nicely as well. When I tell you this is the best vet you will find, I’m not lying.

Dr. Gandler, Crystal, and the entire staff at Sterling Vet are absolute angels. Although our old gal had to be put to sleep yesterday, we were wrapped in warmth and compassion the entire time. I cannot imagine going through such an experience anywhere else. We are so grateful for all this practice has done and continues to do for our family.

We have been going to Dr. Gandler at Sterling Veterinary for at least 15 years. Recently we said goodbye to our fur baby Lexi at the office. Crystal and Dr. Gandler made the experience as comfortable as possible for Lexi and for the human family members. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to care for our beloved Lexi. Thank you!
