St. Johns Vets Affordable Animal Hospital

I'm not sure if my other review will show up but it hasn't yet so I'm doing it again - in case anyone sees 2 from me in a row! 😉 we have been bringing our new puppy here for the past 7 weeks. She LOVES going to the vet and gets so excited when we walk in that it's hard to even get her attention to have her weighed! So she definitely rates them 5 stars! I love that appointments are always on time and they take the time to answer ALL of my many questions. Definitely recommend for anyone searching for a vet! We haven't had her groomed yet but I'm sure we will be just as happy when that time comes! 😉

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a Vet with excellent reviews. My 1st time visit for my 3 year old MaltiPoo went smoothly and my baby was clearly in good hands. Every single person I came in contact with was kind and smiling. For every telephone call, I received the same kindness. Very pleased with the entire experience and my little baby did not cry, whine, or shake from fear or from the shots. They have a groomer associated with the hospital that I will be testing out next week. We are in dire need of an excellent beautician!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! This vet only cares about money!! Just moved to St Augustine and decided to try this vet because it was affordable and close to my house. They were fine at first but the vet was extremely pushy on treatments that were not needed on my cat. Then my dog had A unexpected seizures back to back We rushed in the car to run her into this vet. They turned us away because they didn’t have room to see her and I understand that but at the same this time this is an active emergency so we ended up having to drive to another St. John’s affordable animal Hospital near bay meadows That was 45 minutes away we ran her in as she was seizing still they said that the only reason they fit her in because it was an emergency. If Dr.guttas office could’ve fit us in for an active seizing dog, her seizure would’ve not lasted for almost an hour!!! That Makes me so pissed off as an animal owner if you care that much about animals, you would’ve done what it takes to help a patient out! Also Kylie at the front desk will argue with you and talks over you!!! Fair warning stay far far away!!

Started taking my dog here for Laser Therapy to treat his IVDD. They have been taking such great care of him and the treatments are working wonders for him.

We came in for the first time here for a dental cleaning and we had a great experience. Gabe was awesome from checking us in to checking out, and he did a wonderful job explaining the procedure that was done. It was also helpful how he explained preventative home care for my dog moving forward. Lucas also was awesome! Thank you so much!

Took the time to review the blood work for my 10 year old rescues chihuahua. Prices are reasonable. The staff was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend this vet.
