All of the staff at Springtown Veterinary Hospital are so patient and caring. I found them just by luck, after calling many vet offices when my dog had an emergency. Cassie was the first person that I talked with and she was so supportive and caring. Turns out my dog needed major surgery and Dr. Martin was great in making sure we were comfortable with all of the info about the surgery and during the whole process. Others have seen both of my dogs and all have been excellent. The moments that stand out most in my mind happened last week. My dog got sick again and they were able to see her quickly. As it turned out, she was too sick to save this time. Dr. Luke and his tech were beyond amazing in handling the situation with compassion, patience, and dignity. Yesterday, I received the sweetest sympathy card from Dr. Luke and staff with handwritten words of comfort for our family's loss. I have never had a vets office do that before and we appreciated it very much! The doctors and staff at Springtown Veterinary Hospital are the best! 5 stars all the way!

We had two excellent experiences at Springtown — a minor surgery for our lab mix and the quick, compassionate attention for acute symptoms related to cancer that ended in the unexpected and heartbreaking euthanasia of our basset hound mix. For the surgery, our aging lab had an infected skin tag that had grown to the size of a bulbous nickle on her hind leg. It purportedly wasn't a tumor but it was constantly an open, oozy sore — it had to go. Our regular, OK-but-nothing-special vet gave us a pretty high estimate — we came to Springtown hoping to get the bill down. Their estimate was several hundred dollars cheaper, so we went with them. The surgery was routine, her recovery was great, and we were glad we went with Springtown. When a few months later our hound dog was suddenly having trouble standing and had labored breathing, we didn't hesitate to bring her to Springtown. Our dog had pneumonia, pleural effusion, and suspected cancer. Dr. DeVille was amazing — every step of the way he explained the tests he recommended, the cost of each, and the changing prognosis as more info came to light (he called us several times over the course of the day). All of this was extremely difficult for us, and we deeply appreciated his careful balance of being upfront with genuine empathy, letting us know about additional testing but being honest that they likely wouldn't be useful or worth it at the late stage we found ourselves at. Dr. DeVille was able to take measures to help our dog be comfortable enough to bring home, so we could have one more night with her. We brought her back to Springtown the next morning to be put to sleep. A few days later we received a condolence card signed with heartfelt messages by everyone at the clinic. The whole situation was obviously a terrible shock, and we're forever grateful for Dr. DeVille and the team at Springtown for helping our sweet girl, and for guiding us with patience and compassion to confidently make the decision to end her pain.

On February 27, I had to take my beloved Coco to Springtown Veterinary Hospital, hoping that a vet visit and a bill would be all it took to save his life. Unfortunately, it wasn’t that simple, and I had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to him that day. In an extremely sad situation, the gentle and sweet staff accommodated me as quickly as possible and even worked with my budget. My poor dog was so sick, and they opened their doors immediately for him, diagnosing his condition without hesitation. I had the privilege of working with Dr. Deville and Maya, and they were absolutely amazing. Their kindness, empathy, and patience meant the world to me. They made both Coco and me feel welcome and comfortable, even in such a difficult moment. Having to put down my first pet, my family member, was one of the hardest days of my life, and I truly needed the support and sympathy they so graciously provided. I cannot thank them enough. I would recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone with a pet—and if I could give them six stars, I would.
