Spring Valley Animal Med Hospital

There are many things about this clinic to appreciate. I've been in San Diego for over 10 years, and it's really hard to find a clinic that is actually affordable. Of course, you cannot expect health care of any kind to be "cheap" But compared to a majority of other clinics in the area, they are more realistic numbers which ultimately makes it easier for people to get the help that their animals need. The staff are friendly, and are willing to answer any questions that I may have in regards to my dogs treatment/condition(s). The clinic is small and parking is scarce, but it's worth it. I feel like it's an affordable option where the staff still care about your experience and your pets experience. My dog was limping a lot, and every other clinic wanted over $1,000 just to do an exam and take a couple x-rays. On top of that, these clinics were not going to allow me to go into the exam room with my dog, And even though I agreed to pay insane numbers to try and get to the bottom of it, there were no answers. But one trip to Spring Valley Animal med hospital, under $1,000 including treatment.... I now know why she was limping, and she has not had issues since getting treatment. My dog is generally extremely friendly with anybody and everybody that she meets, but there are certain places (mostly groomers) that she is not as excited about going to... And with a lot of other clinics in the area, she gets nervous about going with the staff while I wait in the lobby area. But at this hospital, she is more than willing to follow the staff wherever they lead her, which tells me that they're treating her well, even when I am not with her.

This review is a few days overdue. I am so grateful for the staff at this facility. The administration helped me so much. The doctor is amazing and a special thanks to the manager for the help I really needed. This is my first puppy of my own and I was very scared by her symptoms. This facility is so professional. I'd recommend it to anyone who really loves there animals. Thank you!

I took in my female German Shepherd for a wellness exam since this was her first visit and for a nail trim. From the time I made the appointment with Karen over the phone to the time I brought her in for the exam and the followup surgery, the staff was super nice and caring. James had a very calm aura about him and calmed my girl. Andrea was very helpful at the front desk. And of course Dr. Zito was great, with her compassion and knowledge!

I highly recommend this place for the Veterinary Services provided. Staff is friendly & organized. Your animal will be treated with love & respect by both the veterinary technicians & veterinarian whom are well educated and love their profession. Dr. Zito is also an excellent surgeon.

They are the best place, I love their customer service. Helpful, always answer phones, communicative. I have been here for over 5 years. The ladies at the front are always so helpful
