Dr Fielder and her wonderful staff took great care of our Great Dane who had injured his paw. He was nervous at first, but was quickly put at ease during the exam. The treatment plan worked great and our big boy was back to his fun self in no time—thank you! Edit: we had Dr Fielder and team out to the farm for yearly exam/coggins/vax/float for our four horses. Excellent care, and not only did she do a great job on their teeth—our 34 year old is having a much easier time eating hay. She’s so much happier! Thank you!

Split Rail Veterinary Clinic, LLC, located at 15090 Pike 313, Bowling Green, MO 63334, USA, operates within the "Pet Hospital" category, offering a broad spectrum of veterinary services. This clinic caters to the health and wellness needs of animals in the Bowling Green and surrounding areas. For appointments or inquiries, Split Rail Veterinary Clinic can be reached via phone at (573) 324-5216 or through its mobile number, +1 573-324-5216.
The environment at Split Rail Veterinary Clinic, while not explicitly detailed in terms of architectural specifics, can be inferred from the nature of a modern veterinary practice that serves both small and large animals, as indicated by the reviews. For small animals, the clinic likely maintains a clean, comfortable, and welcoming indoor environment, featuring a reception area, examination rooms designed to minimize stress for pets, and potentially dedicated areas for diagnostic procedures, surgery, and recovery. The emphasis would be on creating a calm atmosphere conducive to healing and effective treatment. Given their documented ability to serve large animals on-site ("out to the farm"), their operational environment extends beyond a traditional clinic building to include mobile veterinary services. This means they are equipped to handle examinations, vaccinations, and certain treatments directly at a farm or stable location. The clinic's overall environment, therefore, is versatile, encompassing both a stationary facility for comprehensive care and a mobile capability to reach patients in their own familiar surroundings, especially beneficial for equine and other large animal clients. Hygiene and safety standards would be paramount across all operational environments, both within the clinic and during farm calls.
Split Rail Veterinary Clinic, LLC, under the care of Dr. Fielder and her team, offers a diverse range of veterinary services, as clearly demonstrated by the customer reviews. For small animals, services include general examinations, as evidenced by a Great Dane's paw injury being examined and treated. This implies the provision of diagnostic services, wound care, pain management, and the formulation of effective treatment plans. The positive outcome for the Great Dane suggests proficiency in handling common pet injuries and illnesses. For large animals, specifically horses, the clinic provides on-site services, including yearly exams, Coggins testing (a diagnostic test for Equine Infectious Anemia), vaccinations, and dental floats. The success of the dental float in improving a 34-year-old horse's eating habits highlights their expertise in specialized equine care. This multi-species capability is a significant aspect of their service offering. Beyond these specific examples, a comprehensive "Pet Hospital" typically provides preventative care, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, laboratory diagnostics, nutritional counseling, parasite control, and potentially emergency care. The positive feedback about their "best care possible" for a puppy further supports the notion of extensive small animal services, encompassing puppy wellness, vaccinations, and general health management. Their ability to deliver services both in-clinic and via farm calls broadens their accessibility and convenience for a diverse client base.
The features of Split Rail Veterinary Clinic, LLC, are strongly defined by the positive experiences of their clients, highlighting the exceptional qualities of Dr. Fielder and her staff. A primary feature is the "great care" provided, coupled with the staff's ability to put nervous animals "at ease during the exam." This demonstrates a compassionate and skilled approach to animal handling, which is crucial for effective veterinary care, especially for larger or anxious pets. The specific mention of Dr. Fielder's excellent work on horses' teeth, leading to a "much easier time eating hay" for an older horse, showcases specialized expertise in equine dentistry, a valuable feature for farm animal owners. The clinic's staff is consistently described as "wonderful," "extremely friendly folks," and professional. This emphasizes a strong focus on client relationships and a welcoming atmosphere, which is vital for building trust and ensuring pet owners feel comfortable and well-informed. The ability to provide both in-clinic and on-farm services is another key feature, offering convenience and specialized care tailored to different animal needs. The positive outcomes mentioned in the reviews – a Great Dane recovering quickly and a 34-year-old horse eating more easily – speak to the effectiveness of their treatment plans and the quality of their medical care. These combined features of knowledgeable and compassionate staff, specialized care for multiple species, and flexible service delivery contribute to a highly positive client experience.
In terms of promotional information, Split Rail Veterinary Clinic, LLC primarily benefits from strong positive word-of-mouth promotion, as evidenced by the glowing customer reviews. The testimonials themselves serve as powerful marketing tools, highlighting the clinic's strengths and attracting potential clients. The specific mentions of "Dr Fielder and her wonderful staff took great care," "Excellent care," and "We love this veterinarian. They are very friendly folks and give our puppy the best care possible" are direct endorsements that communicate trust, competence, and a positive client experience. The detailed accounts of successful treatments for both a Great Dane and horses, including complex procedures like dental floats, provide concrete examples of their expertise and successful outcomes, which can be highly persuasive for new clients. While specific promotional campaigns like discounts or new client offers are not detailed in the provided information, the clinic's reputation for compassionate, professional, and effective care across multiple species is its most significant promotional asset. Their ability to provide mobile services to farms is also a unique selling proposition that would naturally attract large animal owners in the rural Bowling Green area, serving as an inherent promotional advantage by fulfilling a specific market need.
