I should have posted this earlier but I was debating whether I wanted to. Very nice Vet and seems very caring but last time I took my dog in for her teeth cleaning he didn’t finish the job. I dropped her off and when I returned to pick her up he said she was all set to go. I asked about her teeth and he said that they just barely got it done but she was all set. The next day I was brushing her teeth and I noticed a lot of tartar buildup on her teeth. He never finished the job and I sure didn’t want to take her back and have her sedated again. I will be going elsewhere in the future.

Welcome to Spicer Veterinary Clinic

Welcome to the introduction of Spicer Veterinary Clinic, a local establishment categorized under "Pet Hospital" that aims to provide veterinary care services and potentially related goods for your beloved pets. Located at 11679 51st St NE, Spicer, MN 56288, USA, Spicer Veterinary Clinic can be reached via phone at (320) 796-5404 or mobile phone at +1 320-796-5404.

As a local Pet Hospital, Spicer Veterinary Clinic likely offers a range of services expected from such a facility. These typically include routine check-ups and wellness examinations to ensure your pet's overall health and well-being. Vaccinations, a crucial aspect of preventive care, are usually provided to protect your animals from various diseases. For instances of illness or injury, the clinic would likely offer diagnostic services, potentially including physical examinations, laboratory tests (such as blood work and urinalysis), and imaging techniques like X-rays to identify the underlying issues. Treatment options could range from administering medications and providing supportive care to performing surgical procedures when necessary.

Dental care is another important aspect of pet health, and many veterinary clinics offer services such as teeth cleaning to prevent dental disease, which can lead to more serious health problems if left untreated. Furthermore, Spicer Veterinary Clinic may offer services related to parasite prevention and control, such as administering medications to protect against fleas, ticks, heartworms, and other internal and external parasites. For pet owners looking to manage their pet's reproductive health, services like spaying and neutering are often available.

The environment of a veterinary clinic plays a significant role in the comfort and well-being of both pets and their owners. Ideally, a pet hospital should be clean, organized, and designed to minimize stress for animals. This includes having separate waiting areas for cats and dogs if possible, or at least strategies to reduce interaction between potentially anxious animals. Examination rooms should be well-equipped and allow for a comfortable and efficient assessment of your pet's health. Depending on the scope of services offered, the clinic might also have a surgical suite, a recovery area for animals post-surgery, and possibly even boarding facilities for pets needing to stay overnight or for extended periods for treatment or observation.

Features that can enhance the quality of care at a veterinary clinic include having experienced and compassionate veterinary professionals – including veterinarians and veterinary technicians – who are dedicated to providing the best possible care for your pets. A clinic that invests in up-to-date medical equipment and technology can offer more advanced diagnostic and treatment options. Furthermore, a focus on clear communication with pet owners, explaining diagnoses, treatment plans, and answering questions thoroughly, is a hallmark of good veterinary practice.

However, it is important to consider all available information when evaluating a veterinary service. Online reviews can provide valuable insights into the experiences of other pet owners. In the case of Spicer Veterinary Clinic, some feedback has been shared by customers. One review mentions a concern regarding a dog's teeth cleaning not being completed thoroughly, despite the owner being told the pet was "all set." The owner expressed disappointment and indicated an intention to seek veterinary care elsewhere due to this experience and the reluctance to subject their dog to sedation again for a repeat procedure.

Another review highlights a negative interaction with the person answering the phone, describing them as "a complete jerk," "extremely rude," and "condescending" when basic questions were asked. This individual strongly advised others to seek a clinic with more compassionate and understanding staff. These reviews, while representing individual experiences, should be taken into consideration when forming an opinion about Spicer Veterinary Clinic.

It is crucial to remember that these reviews represent only a snapshot of some customers' experiences and may not be representative of the overall quality of care provided by Spicer Veterinary Clinic. Other pet owners may have had positive experiences. When choosing a veterinary clinic, it is often beneficial to consider a range of factors, including the clinic's location, the services offered, the qualifications and experience of the veterinary staff, the cleanliness and comfort of the facility, and the overall communication and rapport you establish with the team.

To gain a more comprehensive understanding of Spicer Veterinary Clinic, local users are encouraged to consider the following steps: contacting the clinic directly to inquire about their services, fees, and appointment availability; asking specific questions related to their pet's needs; and potentially visiting the clinic to get a feel for the environment and interact with the staff. It might also be helpful to seek recommendations from other pet owners in the Spicer, Minnesota area to gather a broader range of perspectives.

While specific promotional information is not available in the provided data, it is common for veterinary clinics to offer introductory specials for new clients, seasonal promotions on services like vaccinations or parasite prevention, or discounts for senior pets or multiple pets within the same household. Local users are advised to inquire directly with Spicer Veterinary Clinic about any current promotions or special offers that may be available.

In conclusion, Spicer Veterinary Clinic, located in Spicer, Minnesota, is a Pet Hospital that likely provides a range of essential veterinary services for your pets. While online reviews offer some insights into past customer experiences, it is recommended that local users conduct their own due diligence by contacting the clinic, asking questions, and potentially visiting the facility to determine if it meets their individual needs and expectations for their pet's care. Considering a variety of factors, including the services offered, the professionalism of the staff, and the overall environment, will help you make an informed decision about your pet's veterinary care.

Whoever the guy was that answered the phone was a complete jerk. Extremely rude and condescending when asking some basic questions. If you have to go anywhere else if you want to have someone with a bit more compassion and understanding.

Very nice veterinarian. So thankful he made time to see Tucker. He is very gentle with our dog and was able to discover the problem and give us eye drops and ear drops to take care of his infections. Very reasonable prices. Very satisfied with this visit.

Best Vet Clinic i have ever been too. Down to earth vets care more about pets than making money. Prices are very reasonable I don't usually post about much. But this experience was heartwarming and touching. They will always get my business.
