Spay Spa & Neuter Nook

My Goldendoodle and I had a wonderful experience at The Spay and Neuter Nook! Mine was definitely better than his :) They took great care of Teddy and the post surgery instructions were so thorough and they answered all of my questions. They were also super nice! You definitely can’t beat the price. Would recommend to anyone.

What an amazing place recommended to me by a friend. First off, When I was initially going to book a reservation the soonest available was about 3 months down the road. After pleading my case via email they were able to see me much sooner! The staff was absolutely fantastic in answering any questions & concerns I had. I felt comfortable with my cat staying there to get her spay. Everything went so smooth that she was out of surgery a couple of hours early. The cost of the spay, her e-collar, & medications were unbelievable (in a great way). For the level of care and attention to detail, I would have expected the damage to be a lot more. Gigi’s (my cat) recovery is going very well and I couldn’t recommend this place more!

I found this gem of a place and our cat was well taken care of. In addition, the Nook offers chipping, shots, and nail clipping at very reasonable prices. Thank you again for your passion for animals 💕

We had our 1yr old Golden retriever/Doberman mix spayed here this week, and they took excellent care of her. She is already back to acting normal and they gave us pain medicine and calming medicine for her. Their communication is excellent, and she was even ready for pick-up 3 hrs before the general pick-up time! They provide you with clear pre- and post- op instructions and lots of appointment reminders/confirmations so you won't forget your appointment, since you do need to make the appt a few months ahead of time. They are so popular for a reason, they do an excellent job at a fraction of the price of other places. The only other thing I might say is the post-op recovery cone that gave her was kind of big It was just one of those hard plastic ones and she kind of freaked out when we put it on her so instead we went to the store and bought a recovery vest that's simply a little like shirt that covers where her stitches are so I would highly recommend that. They definitely took very good care of our Dixie!

Cannot recommend them enough. My boy got neutered 6 days ago, and to start off we had to reschedule his initial appointment and they were very understanding, and let us schedule for an appointment a few months later which was much better for us. When the time actually came, it was all extremely smooth. Drop off was easy (though early!) and they called literally 2 hours later saying all went well, and he would be ready to pick up earlier than expected. All went well, and then my boy got his incision infected (through no fault of their own, he is just an escape artist from his cone and licked it all night!). They were responsive to my initial email, then sent me a phone number to text direct to the vet to show pictures. I got quick responses, and she got me in within an hour to prescribe antibiotics and look at the wound. One thing that really stood out to me, aside from the medical care, was the actual demeanor they had to my pup. He is a 1 year old 65 pound bundle of energy, and though he is calm and well trained at home, he gets very excited in high stimulation environments like the vet! I have had other vets get visibly frustrated at me and him when he wouldn't sit still. However, this vet literally said "he doesn't want to sit still, no problem I can check from under him!" and got on the floor to check his incision while he was standing. They do wonderful work and I felt that they actually care about their patients!
