Welcome to Spay & Neuter Clinic at Seattle Animal Shelter
Welcome to the detailed introduction of the Spay & Neuter Clinic at Seattle Animal Shelter, a pet hospital located at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, USA. This clinic operates under the umbrella of the Seattle Animal Shelter and provides essential services focused on spaying and neutering, alongside other important preventative care for pets in the Seattle area and beyond. While appointment availability may be challenging due to high demand, the positive feedback from customers highlights the significant benefits of their affordable services and the genuine care provided to animals.
Information regarding the specific environment of the Spay & Neuter Clinic at Seattle Animal Shelter is somewhat limited. However, operating within an animal shelter context often implies a functional and clean environment primarily geared towards efficient and effective delivery of veterinary services, particularly surgical procedures like spays and neuters. While it might not boast the elaborate amenities of a private veterinary practice, the focus is likely on providing a safe and adequately equipped space for the animals undergoing procedures and receiving care. The positive reviews emphasize the care for the animals' well-being, suggesting that the environment, while perhaps basic, meets the necessary standards for their health and safety.
The core services offered by the Spay & Neuter Clinic at Seattle Animal Shelter are clearly indicated in its name: spaying (for female animals) and neutering (for male animals). These are crucial surgical procedures that prevent unwanted litters, reduce the risk of certain health problems, and can also help with behavioral issues in pets. The positive reviews confirm the availability and quality of these services, with one customer successfully getting both their cat and dog "fixed" at this clinic. Beyond spay and neuter surgeries, the clinic also offers other essential preventative care services. One reviewer mentioned getting their cat microchipped and receiving all necessary vaccinations at the same time as the neutering procedure. This suggests that the clinic provides a more comprehensive range of basic veterinary care beyond just sterilization surgeries, contributing to the overall health and responsible pet ownership within the community.
A significant feature of the Spay & Neuter Clinic at Seattle Animal Shelter, consistently highlighted in the customer feedback, is the affordability of their services. One reviewer explicitly mentioned their "fantastic prices," noting that the cost for their cat's neutering, microchipping, and vaccinations was around $200 for everything, which they deemed "worth it." This low-cost aspect makes essential veterinary care more accessible to a wider range of pet owners, including those who might face financial constraints. The fact that a customer traveled from Port Townsend, which is some distance from Seattle, underscores the significant cost savings and perceived value offered by this clinic.
Another key feature is the evident care and concern for the animals' well-being demonstrated by the staff. Despite the potential challenges in securing an appointment, customers express confidence in the clinic's dedication to their patients. The reviewer who traveled from out of town specifically stated that "you can truly tell that they care about the animals and their wellbeing." This sentiment suggests a team that is not only efficient in their procedures but also genuinely invested in the health and comfort of the animals under their care. This compassionate approach is a significant draw for pet owners seeking affordable yet quality veterinary services.
While the outstanding feature is the low cost of services, potential clients should be aware, as mentioned in one review, that "getting an appointment is extremely hard." This high demand likely reflects the affordability and quality of care provided. Local users should be prepared for a potential wait when trying to schedule a procedure. However, the same reviewer also notes that "the wait is so worth it," indicating that the benefits of the clinic's services outweigh the difficulty in securing an appointment for many pet owners.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for the Spay & Neuter Clinic at Seattle Animal Shelter beyond their consistently low prices for services like spay/neuter, microchipping, and vaccinations. As a clinic operating within a non-profit animal shelter framework, their mission likely focuses on providing affordable care to maximize the number of animals that can be sterilized and receive basic preventative treatments, rather than offering traditional promotional deals. Local users interested in the most up-to-date information on their services and any potential changes in their offerings should contact the clinic directly at (206) 386-4260 or mobile phone +1 206-386-4260.
For local users in Seattle, WA, and the surrounding areas, the Spay & Neuter Clinic at Seattle Animal Shelter offers a valuable resource for affordable pet care, particularly for spaying and neutering procedures, as well as microchipping and vaccinations. The clinic's commitment to animal welfare and their significantly lower prices, as highlighted by satisfied customers, make them an attractive option for responsible pet owners. While appointment scheduling may require patience due to high demand, the positive experiences shared by others suggest that the quality of care and cost savings are well worth the effort. If you are looking for budget-friendly options for these essential pet health services, contacting the Seattle Animal Shelter Spay & Neuter Clinic is a worthwhile step.
In conclusion, the Spay & Neuter Clinic at Seattle Animal Shelter provides a crucial service to the community by offering affordable spay and neuter surgeries, along with other preventative care like microchipping and vaccinations. Feb 04, 2025 · KayDee WeddleGot my cat neutered, chipped, and all his shots. Cost around $200 for everything, but I think it was worth it for my little fluff ball. It was a pleasant experience. I'd go back again.
Oct 27, 2018 · Billy EdwardsI brought my female rabbit to be spayed here and they are awesome. They are very knowledgeable about rabbits and made me feel safe leaving my bun with them! Their prices are fantastic and they truly care about the animals they are working with! When we picked her up, they spent time going over everything that they did and aftercare!
Nov 19, 2019 · Shana CardenasWhen I brought my baby girl in for a spay I was nervous at first. I'd never had a cat spayed but they walked me through the process when I came in. I left feeling relieved and by about 3p, I called and they told me she was already up (which I found out is uncharacteristic of most cats after that surgery) and moving around. I went to pick her up at 530 and got in to see the surgery completed and the incision looking great! They even gave me a free seattle pet license! I love these guys because their prices are amazing (they have sliding scale if you aren't able to afford it) and they really care and they do an awesome job! I will be coming back for sure!
May 14, 2019 · Heather FennellThey take such in depth precautions and are so easy to talk to. Don't hesitate to reach out to them for spay and neuter services! I'm so grateful for them! They fixed my cat babycakes and it was a breeze! Thank you again!
