This place is a DISASTER! Totally overbooked - it's a veterinary assembly line. My kitten does not belong in factory - not a single person was affectionate or made comments.. 4 o'clock appointment for 2 freaking shots. Sat unil 4:35 before I got called in with a tech, not the vet. Constantly having to say no to additional services. Finally got the shots at 4:55. Then had to wait for another 25 minutes to pay the bill. (Should note, one nice helpful blond staffer who does intake.) I would drive to a vet in Raleigh before I ever went back this awful place.

Welcome to Southern Oaks Animal Hospital: Ast Cindy DVM

Welcome to the introduction of Southern Oaks Animal Hospital: Ast Cindy DVM, a local establishment categorized under "Pet Hospital" dedicated to providing veterinary care and potentially offering related services and goods for your beloved pets. Located at 5733 Rockfish Rd, Hope Mills, NC 28348, USA, Southern Oaks Animal Hospital can be reached by phone at (910) 424-3011 or via mobile at +1 910-424-3011. This introduction aims to provide local users with an objective overview of the animal hospital based on available information, including insights from customer reviews found online.

As a Pet Hospital, Southern Oaks Animal Hospital likely offers a range of medical services aimed at maintaining and improving the health of your animal companions. These services typically include routine check-ups, vaccinations, diagnostic procedures, treatments for illnesses and injuries, and potentially surgical interventions. Pet hospitals serve as crucial resources for pet owners, providing access to professional veterinary expertise and medical facilities necessary for ensuring the well-being of their furry, scaled, or feathered friends.

Based on the limited information available, specifically the customer reviews, it's challenging to provide a comprehensive description of the hospital's environment and specific features. However, we can infer some aspects based on the feedback. One review mentions a "veterinary assembly line" and a feeling that the kitten was in a "factory," suggesting a potentially high patient volume and a possibly less personalized atmosphere during busy periods. Another review notes that the staff are "at least nice," indicating a degree of positive interaction with some team members.

Regarding services, one review explicitly mentions the administration of "2 freaking shots," indicating that vaccinations are among the services offered. The same review also points to the potential for upselling or recommendations for "additional services," which is a common practice in many healthcare settings, including veterinary care, to ensure comprehensive pet health. However, the reviewer's tone suggests this was perceived negatively in their specific situation.

The features of Southern Oaks Animal Hospital are not explicitly detailed in the provided information. Typically, a pet hospital would feature examination rooms, diagnostic equipment (such as X-ray machines or laboratory facilities), and potentially surgical suites, recovery areas, and a pharmacy for dispensing medications. The mention of a "tech" calling the patient in suggests the presence of veterinary technicians who assist the veterinarians in providing care.

The customer reviews highlight significant concerns regarding waiting times. One reviewer reported waiting 35 minutes past their appointment time to see a tech, followed by an additional wait for the actual shots and then another 25 minutes to pay. Another customer described waiting an hour to see the vet and being in their second hour of waiting to check out. These long wait times are a recurring theme in the feedback and are described as "unacceptable" and causing "undue stress to the poor animals."

One positive note within the negative feedback is the mention of a "nice helpful blond staffer who does intake." This suggests that at least some members of the staff are perceived as friendly and helpful, particularly during the initial stages of the visit.

It is important to consider that these reviews represent individual experiences and may not be fully representative of every visit to Southern Oaks Animal Hospital. However, the consistency of the negative feedback regarding wait times suggests this might be an area of concern for some pet owners.

Promotional information is not provided in the given data. Typically, a pet hospital might promote services such as seasonal vaccinations, dental care packages, senior pet wellness programs, or special offers for new clients. Without specific promotional details, we cannot comment on any current offers from Southern Oaks Animal Hospital.

In conclusion, Southern Oaks Animal Hospital: Ast Cindy DVM is a Pet Hospital located in Hope Mills, NC, offering veterinary services that include at least vaccinations. Based on customer reviews, the hospital may experience high patient volumes leading to potentially long waiting times, which some clients have found unsatisfactory. While some staff members are noted to be nice and helpful, the overall experience for some reviewers was negatively impacted by the perceived lack of personalized attention and extended wait times. Local users considering Southern Oaks Animal Hospital for their pet care needs may want to take these experiences into account alongside any other information they can gather.

Two stars because the people that work here are at least nice but we waited an hour to see the vet and are onto hour two of the wait to checkout and pay. These wait times are unacceptable and add undue stress to the poor animals. The care we received was fine but I would not recommend this clinic.
