Southeast Veterinary Neurology

My 7yr old Doxie had a ruptured disc in her cervical spine (cervical IVDD) that needed surgical intervention quick to prevent further mobility issues. Her surgical, neurological, and nurse treatment teams at Southeast Veterinary Neurology of Virginia Beach were incredibly professional with exceptional competence and I couldn't be more thankful 🫶🏾 Highly recommend Southeast Veterinary Neurology for anyones fur babies neurological/spinal injuries/illnesses! Alanna even sent us a precious letter with photo from London as an update to her status that delighted our hearts to receive. And her overnight nurse Kaylee was incredible and I could feel her love and dedication for helping animals over the phone. Never had the chance to meet her in person but I could tell my baby girl was in good hands when she told me London chose her as her person while there lol. London's surgeon did an amazing job and took a less invasive route when closing her incision to prevent infection but opting not to staple and I couldn't be happier with her choice. Outstandingly caring staff with excellent communication and quality care. Alanna, Kaylee, and London's surgeon (can't remember her name but she has awesome purple hair!) stood out to me with everything they did to take care of our baby. The continuous updates and quality of communication were reassuring and wonderful! Highly recommend!!

Having a furry family member experiencing an emergency it's an awful experience. I was very grateful for for the overall care and detailed explanations as well as the follow-up calls that I received regarding her progress. Everyone was very kind and understanding. The neurologist vet is really outstanding. they carried her back out and allowed me to say good night before I had to leave her there.

All techs and doc super friendly and took the time to explain everything. They were up front about costs which is so helpful when going through emergencies especially. Every single person I encountered was amazing and took the time to hear my concerns and explain every situation. Starting with the patient coordinator on a Sunday. She followed up just role she said she would. They made a very emotional time for me so much easier. Straight forward communication

I had the most wonderful experience here. I was so worried and anxious about the state of my dog and the doctors/nurses did such a fantastic job in examining him, answering all of my questions, and just being so caring in delivering the information and helping me create a plan to go forward. The doctor was so thorough in helping me figure out the right schedule for his medications, and I left feeling much more confident and relieved. HIGHLY recommend. The best experience I have had so far with my dog's care! Above and beyond. Dr. Conte was just incredible. Couldn't recommend him more. He was so careful in explaining everything to me and took extra time to make sure I felt confident. Deb, the veterinary assistant was also fantastic and took care in explaining the administration of all of the medications. The careful approach the staff took to making sure I left with all the proper information.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. I showed up early because I had the wrong time and they were kind enough to put my cat and I in a room so he could relax while waiting. The Dr took plenty of time explaining it cats condition and answer all my questions. I forgot the names but the receptionist, nurses and providers. The time the Dr took to explain everything
