I've been taking both of my fur babies to Southbelt Vet, since a little after they first opened, we've always experienced excellent care of our pets and the staff is always helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Have taken one dog and various (9) cats since 2011. I usually make appointments earlier than 4pm. Friendly and caring staff. They even help me carry pet carriers into their office. April 2025, needed to get a detailed check up of my kitty Darla. In the past she's been treated for UTI with crystals. This time she got a clean bill of health. I am happy for the peace of mind. The hospital staff here is very caring. This location has a lot of heart. 🩷🐈

Did not like my recent experience with Dr.Nester and WILL NOT BE RETURNING. She was not informative or helpful with the situation we are going through at the moment. She explained what she thought was going on with our pet rather quickly and when asked questions she look at me as if she was annoyed that I was not fully understanding. She examined my dog rather quickly, new vet let us know that our dog has ear infections, which she obviously didn’t check because this was not mentioned to us. I also didn’t like how I heard my dog yelp & cry extremely loud from the back after checking his anal glands. After seeing a new vet, they did this in front of us and our dog was calm and did not even whine and allowed him to feel and check with ease. Which makes me wonder how rough they had to have been for him to yell that loud. Doesn’t seem compassionate or helpful towards her patients. Her assistant was also not very helpful or professional, when asked a question she responded “I’m not the doctor”.

Terrible place.. My niece saved a dog walking on the feader of the highway and took it to this location for treatment. The dog was microchiped, and this location said they would call the owner. 2 months later and the owner has not come forward. My niece asked if she could take ownership of the dog to make sure the dog could receive vaccinations and other health care because it looks like she's injured at her hip area. Dr. Nester talked down to my niece as if she was trying to steal the dog. Luckily, we found another vet that is putting this dogs health as a priority, and Daisy is getting the treatment she needs.
