Can't recommend this place enough. We had to make the hard decision to put down our 14 year old pup, Teddy as he had rapidly declined. Not only were they the best price they were quick and compassionate. Also, their resident corgis are ADORABLE. I definitely needed the pets they let me give them to ease my nerves. Thank you Dr for making a hard time a little easier. The card was so sweet and the little pawprint done. We will be bringing our other dogs back when they're due to go to the vets. Serving the community with dedication, Soehnlen Veterinary Clinic aims to provide comprehensive veterinary care for your cherished animal companions. You can reach them at (330) 484-5297 or via mobile at +1 330-484-5297.
Based on available information, Soehnlen Veterinary Clinic has garnered both positive and negative feedback from its clientele. Understanding these experiences can help local users make informed decisions about their pet care needs.
One recurring positive aspect highlighted by customers is the compassionate and caring nature of the veterinary staff, particularly during difficult times such as the euthanasia of a pet. One reviewer shared their experience of putting down their 14-year-old dog, Teddy, praising the clinic for their quick service, reasonable pricing, and, most importantly, their compassionate approach. The presence of the clinic's resident corgis was also mentioned as a comforting factor during a stressful time. The thoughtful gesture of a sympathy card and a paw print memento further underscored the clinic's empathetic service during sensitive moments. This suggests that Soehnlen Veterinary Clinic prioritizes emotional support for pet owners facing challenging decisions.
The professionalism and expertise of the veterinarians themselves have also been commended. One reviewer, despite experiencing billing issues, specifically stated, "The vets are the best around," indicating a high level of trust and satisfaction with the medical care provided by the veterinary team.
However, recent feedback also indicates significant concerns regarding the clinic's administrative and billing practices. Several reviewers have reported issues with billing errors, refunds, and subsequent demands for payment of incorrect amounts. One customer recounted paying double for their pet's euthanasia and cremation due to a billing mistake by the clinic, expressing dissatisfaction with the lack of willingness to resolve the issue without placing the financial burden on the customer. Another reviewer detailed a similar situation where a refund was issued instead of a charge, leading to a demand for payment of a higher amount later. These instances raise concerns about the accuracy and efficiency of the clinic's billing department and customer service in resolving financial discrepancies.
Furthermore, there are reports of negative interactions with the office management. One reviewer stated that due to their negative feedback regarding a billing error, they were informed that they could no longer bring their pets to the clinic. This response has been described as "horrible office manager" behavior and has led to the loss of business and negative word-of-mouth. Such instances suggest potential issues with customer service and conflict resolution within the administrative side of the clinic.
It is important for potential local users to consider both the positive feedback regarding the compassionate veterinary care and the negative feedback concerning billing and administrative practices. While the quality of medical care provided by the veterinarians appears to be a strong point for Soehnlen Veterinary Clinic, the reported issues with billing and customer service are areas that prospective clients should be aware of.
As a Pet Hospital, Soehnlen Veterinary Clinic likely offers a range of standard veterinary services, which may include routine check-ups, vaccinations, dental care, surgical procedures, diagnostic testing (such as blood work and imaging), and treatments for illnesses and injuries. Given the mention of euthanasia and cremation services in the reviews, it is confirmed that these end-of-life care options are also provided. While the specific environment of the clinic (e.g., waiting areas, examination rooms, surgical facilities) is not detailed in the provided information, the positive comments about the staff's compassion suggest a caring and supportive atmosphere, at least in interactions related to patient care.
In terms of features, the presence of resident corgis, as mentioned by one reviewer, could be considered a unique and potentially comforting aspect of the clinic environment for some pet owners. The willingness of the staff to allow interactions with these animals during stressful times indicates a focus on creating a more relaxed atmosphere for clients.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided text. However, local users are encouraged to contact Soehnlen Veterinary Clinic directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire about any current promotions, discounts, or special offers for new or existing clients.
In conclusion, Soehnlen Veterinary Clinic in Navarre, OH, operates as a Pet Hospital providing veterinary services, including compassionate end-of-life care. While they have received praise for their caring veterinarians and empathetic approach, particularly during difficult times, potential clients should be aware of reported issues concerning billing accuracy and customer service management. Local users are advised to weigh these factors when choosing a veterinary care provider for their beloved pets and perhaps seek clarification on billing procedures and customer service policies when considering Soehnlen Veterinary Clinic.

Apr 09, 2025 · Joanne O'Neal-BrewerNEW UPDATE: here is their explaination to BBB. Keep in mind, the reason for discontinuing services is “fake accounts”. There are no fake accounts reviewing anyone. Sorry the truth is out. If you would like this resolve this. Please reach out to me. You guys for sure have my number. *FINAL UPDATE* Now they are lying, and changing the story. I will be disputing this charge now with the bank. Carrie, you are the WORST manager. You’ve lost my business and I will be telling anyone to switch. **UPDATE** Carrie (office manager) called and said because of this review, I can no longer take my pets to this office. Even though I’ve paid their mistake. Horrible office manager. **UPDATE** Just had to pay double for my big man all because of Soehnlen Veterinary Clinic billing mistake. They were not willing to help aside from giving me 90 days to pay the amount that was billed incorrectly. We paid to have our dog euthanized Saturday morning. They refunded us instead of charging us. We noticed Monday. Immediately called and asked what was the issue? They said instead of sale, the refunded. Now i have a $550 that is my problem they say. Unless it is paid, my pets are not welcome. I will return because you the Vets didn’t do this, billing and front desk did. The vets are the best around. Please, if you make a mistake as a company, do not blame the customer. Very poor business practice. I LOVE this vet office. Let me just start with this. This past weekend I had to get one of my fur kids euthanized. Process was amazing. Staff is amazing Here’s why I’m leaving 3 stars. Apparently, they refunded me and didn’t charge me. Now I owe 550 instead of 250. I checked my statements and do not see any reason for this. It’s unprofessional to make a customers eat a mistake your company made you! This will deter me from continuing business. Corey Hall, Dexter Halls Dad. Reach me if you would like to have this solved other than me paying double to have my dog euthanized and cremated.
Apr 29, 2025 · Heckin HallVet techs were awesome and very caring However, customer service And billing/finance could definitely use a review. Our family was charged double and we took the time to call and speak with the available representative regarding the situation she said on their end, everything looked fine. We were not double charge. There was nothing else that we needed to do and everything have been taken care of, but now we’re receiving messages that apparently we only paid half and are expected to put up another half when that was not the original agreement That was discussed and we had called to make sure everything was correct.
Apr 23, 2025 · Bria'na TodaroVery caring and compassionate staff when I had to put my best friend down. They gave me the time I needed to say see you again and didn’t mind my ugly crying. Almost a year later I bring my new dog in and was speaking with the vet while he was examining. Maybe my inexperience, I don’t know, but my dog almost fell off the table. I wasn’t aware that I needed to hold onto my dog the whole time, some vets don’t like that and some will tell you to hold onto them. Communication on that would have been nice, other than that the visit was fine.
Apr 19, 2025 · Crystal MaxhimerI need to take my puppy in and I called before I came in cause I need to come in a soon as possible but the lady I called acted like the place was too busy and she couldn't take me and told me it was gonna be 100 dollars for emergency fee, I told her I was fine with paying it i need to come in, she told me 4 times. When I got there, it was not busy at all, and they took me as soon as possible. The doctor was very nice, very kind. The lady on the phone was not very nice, though.
