I received good customer service on the phone, and then when I first brought my cat in for an examination the next day. After that I used four days of boarding, and when I came back from my trip all was well.

Jan 14, 2025 · Peter LudwinskiThis is simply an average vet that I no longer trust. My husband took our cat in this morning for what we suspected was a UTI. They called him back saying they wanted to run X-rays. We had not been told they had already found crystals in his urine indicating a UTI. We ran the xray believing that this was more serious with no clue that they had already found out about the UTI. Then my husband gets a call back and the Dr speaks with him trying to get us to run more tests for lung cancer due to our cat’s pretty normal cough. Oh but it could also be asthma?! A cough and being told the X-rays didn’t seem normal when I have no visual and already don’t trust you anymore is the last and final straw. We were never fully thrilled with the level or care but $500 later after an unnecessary bill we will be taking our three pets to another vet.
Nov 08, 2024 · Rebecca VickersDr. Griffith and his staff are amazing! We have been taking our cat to see him for years and have recently added a puppy to our family. He treats all of his patients with the upmost care and kindness. If you have any questions about your pet, he makes sure to address all concerns before you leave so you can feel informed about your furbaby's health and safety. Highly recommend to all pet owners in Cobb County!
Aug 27, 2020 · Rachel Ballard NicholsonWe have been bringing our pets here for 30 yrs. We've never had a bad experience ever. They love our pets as much as we do. My husband's family started coming here in the mid 70's. All of the ladies that work here are fabulous and Dr Griffth as well. These ladies are extremely busy many times when we come in. But they have always made us feel at home, went above and beyond for our precious babies. I would without a doubt recommend Smyrna Animail Hospital to everyone. I'd never take our babies anywhere else.
Nov 04, 2023 · Michelle BingIf I could give a negative star review, I would. I have never experienced poorer customer service at any business in my entire life. I have been handed the wrong heartworm medication by staff. (My dog is clearly large and the vet tech handed me heartworm medication for a dog from 1-25 pounds.) DO NOT DROP your pet off for their drop off service. They will be stuck in a kennel all day and not allowed to use the restroom. Why do I know this you might be asking yourself. Well, I had an appointment for the vet to take a look at my dogs ears after they had given us a treatment regiment for his ear infection as well as taking blood to be examined. I dropped him off at my scheduled time of 9am. By 1:00pm He still had not seen the vet. I had to come pick him up before 3:00pm because I had an appointment I needed to attend. When I showed up to pick him up not only did they fail to actually look at his ears, but they gave me an atrocious attitude at the front desk by the manager. Basically telling me it was my fault that he did not get looked at. I get him back in the car and notice that his fur is matted and wet. He's COVERED in urine. I had to go to the pet store immediately because I needed to get dog shampoo. While walking through the aisles with him, he releases his bowels all over the store. THEY HAD NOT LET HIM OUT OF THE KENNEL SINCE 9AM. I had not let him use the bathroom before because they always need to get a sample. If you care about the wellbeing of your animals, look elsewhere for a vet. We have not and will not ever be back to this establishment.
