Watch for bills they cant say what was for and they were 25yrs old!!!Went in today April 23 2025 set an appointment up at the beginning of the month. Got the confirmation call yesterday. Today I go in and now there is a $75 bill for services they can't tell me what was done in the year 2000. 25 years ago when I didn't have an animal and was living in Southern Oklahoma with my Grandparents. But because it is under my name if I don't pay it they won't see my dog that I do have. Don't seem like much but do this to 10 people that's $750 and so on. I would have no problem paying if I had an animal at that time was in this area and knew what services were rendered! Watch out for faulty bills that they don't know what they supposedly did! I did have a dog with services render from 2007 thru 2020 when he had to be put down because age and cancer but never had anything said about anything in the year 2000 for $75. Be watchful..

We strive to offer a knowledgeable and understanding approach to address your pet's health needs. You can contact us at (918) 396-1338 or +1 918-396-1338 to schedule an appointment or learn more about our services.

Based on recent customer feedback, Skiatook Animal Clinic has demonstrated a strong commitment to patient care, particularly in complex post-operative scenarios. One detailed review recounts the experience of Rocky Mountain Jackson, who underwent a neutering procedure and subsequently required resuscitation due to complications. The review highlights the exceptional care provided by the doctors, including Michelle Marlow, and the entire staff. Their knowledge, understanding, and perseverance over several days were crucial in Rocky's remarkable recovery. The pet owner expressed deep appreciation for the team's dedication, stating their belief that the staff treats pets as if they were their own.

This positive account underscores several key features of Skiatook Animal Clinic. The willingness of the veterinary team to "hang in there for days" until a patient shows significant improvement indicates a high level of dedication and commitment to positive outcomes, even in challenging situations. The mention of the doctors being "knowledgeable and understanding" suggests a team that is not only skilled in veterinary medicine but also empathetic to the concerns of pet owners. The sentiment that the staff treats fur-babies as their own speaks volumes about the level of compassion and care you can expect at this clinic.

The successful resuscitation and subsequent recovery of Rocky Mountain Jackson, as documented through photos and videos shared by the owner, further illustrates the clinic's capabilities in handling critical situations and providing intensive post-operative care. This suggests that Skiatook Animal Clinic is equipped to manage not only routine procedures but also more complex cases requiring vigilant monitoring and intervention.

However, it is important to present a balanced view based on all available feedback. Another customer reported a negative experience concerning billing practices. This review from April 23, 2025, describes an attempt to charge the customer for services allegedly rendered in the year 2000, a time when the customer claims they did not have a pet in the area. The customer expressed frustration that the clinic could not provide details about these 25-year-old charges and that their current pet's care was contingent on settling this disputed bill. The reviewer cautioned others to be watchful for potentially inaccurate billing.

This negative review raises concerns about the clinic's record-keeping and billing transparency. While it is an isolated incident in the provided feedback, it is crucial to acknowledge this perspective to provide an objective introduction. Potential clients may want to ensure clear communication regarding billing and request detailed explanations for any charges they incur.

Considering both the positive and negative feedback, potential features of Skiatook Animal Clinic include:

  • **Dedicated and Knowledgeable Veterinarians:** Including Dr. Michelle Marlow, who are skilled in providing comprehensive care.
  • **Compassionate and Understanding Staff:** Committed to treating pets with care and empathy.
  • **Willingness to Handle Complex Cases:** Demonstrated ability in managing post-operative complications and providing intensive care.
  • **Perseverance in Treatment:** The team is willing to work diligently until a pet shows improvement, even over several days.
  • **Potential Concerns Regarding Billing Practices:** One customer reported issues with old, unexplained charges and conditional care based on payment.
  • **Importance of Billing Transparency:** Potential clients should ensure clear understanding and documentation of all services and charges.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available. The positive testimonial regarding the handling of a complex post-operative case serves as a strong indicator of the clinic's dedication to patient care. However, the billing issue raised by another customer suggests that potential clients should be diligent in discussing and clarifying all billing aspects with the clinic.

For local users in Skiatook, OK, seeking a Pet Hospital with a dedicated and knowledgeable veterinary team, particularly for routine procedures and potentially more complex post-operative care, Skiatook Animal Clinic may be a viable option. The positive review highlights their commitment to going the extra mile for their patients. However, prospective clients should also be aware of the billing concerns raised by another reviewer and ensure clear communication and understanding regarding all charges. It is recommended to discuss any billing inquiries proactively with the clinic staff to ensure a transparent and positive experience.

Rocky Mountain Jackson had a neutering procedure on Monday. He had to be resuscitated and suffered some complications. The doctors, Michelle Marlow and staff (sorry if i can't remember all your names) at Skiatook Animal Clinic took such good care of him. They were knowledgeable and understanding and hung in there for days until Rocky was showing remarkable improvements. I love these ladies, and you can be sure they will treat your fur-babies as if they were their own. Photo is day one. Video is Thursday evening.

Dr.'s Caroline and Sharon, and staff make this place great. Angus likes the Dr.'s and the tech's... and as a giant breed he usually gets pampered and taken places he likes...
