Staff know their stuff. No b.s. dentist. So skilled I fell asleep in the chair once while he was working me over. Been happy with them 2 yrs. They made a lower partial for me. Took me a couple months to get used to it. Use it all the time now. My husband and I went to another dentist for years, but my new insurance was not accepted there. So that is why I went to see Dr Shackelford My partial is used to replace as many teeth as my husband's from my old dentist, but by comparison his is clunky and much bigger than mine. I am really happy after a couple years. My husband hates his partial from our old dentist, way too much metal. Hardly wears his. I can see why by looking at his partial. My husband wishes he had gone to my Dr. Shacelford now. Highly recommend Dr Shackelford after 2 years. Really good experience for me.

Welcome to Shackelford Mark DVM

Welcome to Shackelford Mark DVM, your local Pet Hospital serving the Tulsa, Oklahoma community and surrounding areas. Located at 6231 E 15th St #6407, Tulsa, OK 74112, USA, we are committed to providing efficient and affordable veterinary care for your beloved animal companions. While the name might initially suggest a focus beyond traditional veterinary medicine, the overwhelmingly positive feedback from pet owners clearly establishes Shackelford Mark DVM as a trusted and highly recommended Pet Hospital for a range of animal health needs.

Based on the reviews from real customers, Shackelford Mark DVM appears to prioritize efficiency without compromising the quality of care. One client specifically highlighted the speed of service, mentioning a comprehensive full physical examination for their 11-year-old dog, including blood work, all necessary vaccinations, and nail clipping, completed in just over thirty minutes. Furthermore, the remarkably quick turnaround time for blood work results – a mere three hours – demonstrates a commitment to timely diagnostics and communication with pet owners.

A significant feature of Shackelford Mark DVM, as emphasized by a cost-conscious pet owner, is the affordability of their services. The same comprehensive physical examination, including blood work and vaccinations, reportedly cost significantly less than at another veterinary facility in the Overland Park area. This substantial price difference, coupled with the faster service and quicker results, positions Shackelford Mark DVM as a cost-effective option for quality veterinary care in the Tulsa region. This is a crucial factor for many pet owners seeking high-quality care without exorbitant expenses.

Beyond efficiency and affordability, the reviews also underscore the caring and animal-loving nature of the staff at Shackelford Mark DVM. One client explicitly stated that they "received great service from people who love animals" and expressed immense satisfaction with both the service and the price. This sentiment suggests a team that is not only competent and efficient but also genuinely passionate about the well-being of their animal patients, creating a positive and reassuring experience for both pets and their owners.

While one lengthy review initially seems unrelated, focusing on dental work performed by a "Dr. Shackelford," it's important to note that this positive experience also speaks to the skill and expertise associated with the name. The client's satisfaction with a complex dental procedure (creation of a lower partial) over a two-year period, especially in comparison to a less satisfactory experience with a previous dentist, suggests a high level of professional competence. While the context is human dentistry, the strong recommendation associated with "Dr. Shackelford" reinforces the positive reputation linked to the name, potentially extending to the veterinary practice as well.

Considering the direct feedback from pet owners regarding veterinary services, Shackelford Mark DVM appears to offer a range of essential Pet Hospital services. These include comprehensive physical examinations, vaccinations tailored to your pet's needs, diagnostic blood work with rapid results, and routine procedures like nail clipping. The efficiency and affordability of these services are significant advantages for local pet owners seeking quality care without long wait times or excessive costs.

The positive comments about the staff's love for animals suggest a caring and compassionate approach to patient care. While specific details about the clinic's environment are not provided, a team that genuinely cares for animals typically strives to create a comfortable and stress-free atmosphere for their patients. You can likely expect a clean and functional facility where your pet's well-being is a priority.

In conclusion, Shackelford Mark DVM in Tulsa, OK, stands out as a Pet Hospital offering efficient, affordable, and caring veterinary services. The positive feedback from pet owners highlights the speed of service, the cost-effectiveness of comprehensive care like physicals and blood work, and the animal-loving nature of the staff. While one review references human dentistry associated with the name "Dr. Shackelford," the direct testimonials from pet owners firmly establish the practice as a highly recommended Pet Hospital for routine and comprehensive animal care. Had a full physical done on my 11 year old buddy including blood work and all his shots plus had his nails clipped. Total bill was $118 and we were done in a little over thirty minutes plus they called with his blood work results 3 hours later. This same visit was over $400 last year in Overland Park and the blood work was delivered a day or so later. WE received great service from people who love animals. Couldn't be happier about the service and price.

We've used 15th Street Vet for years. However, recently we had a 6 year old Chihuahua that became gravely ill. While in retrospect I feel like I might have been given some false hope about recovery, that is not why I'm writing. Ultimately, after being transferred to the Animal Emergency Center, my precious pup had to be euthanized. I contacted 15th Street to let them know and ask them to please send us the bill for their services to her. A few days later, I received a sympathy card in the mail from them. Only the card was for our black lab who had passed away nearly 10 years ago. My heart sank. How could you confuse a chihuahua that passed this week with a Labrador Retriever that passed away long ago? The next week, one of our other dogs was due for 4 month vaccinations. At the appointment we inquired about when we could expect her to start losing her primary teeth. The vet looked in her mouth and told us that all of her front teeth were already permanent. Literally TWO days later, four of her permanent front teeth erupted behind the primary teeth. I have lost confidence in this clinic.

As an over anxious dog Mama, I take my dogs to the vet more than most, English bulldogs being"high maintenance". This morning my bully Tallulah had icky eyes and ears. I took advantage of the walk in service on a Saturday morning. It turns out that my sweet girl has dry eye in both eyes. No vet had ever said a word about this condition, and I'm so upset that my girl has been suffering all this time. She now has the meds she needs to be comfortable; and while I didn't find the charges any cheaper than other veterinary hospitals, I will still continue to be a patient.

My pets have loved the docs and staff at 15th Street Vets for years. They are loving and compassionate people, especially when it comes to my poochies who don't tend to like strangers! 15th Street staff is affordable and efficient. I wouldn't trust anyone else to look after my best four-legged friends!
