Scout Veterinary Urgent Care - West Loop

I recently took my beloved dog, Mimi, who was nearly 15 years old and not doing well, to a brand new, very nice facility called Scout. Unfortunately, the news was heartbreaking, and I had to make the incredibly difficult decision to put him down. While it was devastating, I knew it was the right choice to prevent him from suffering. I truly appreciated the honesty and compassion from the staff—they were extremely empathetic and gave me the time I needed to come to terms with such a hard decision. Mimi meant everything to me, and while I didn’t expect to face euthanasia that day, I’m grateful they helped me through it with such care. They arranged for his cremation, returned his remains with a paw print, and even sent a thoughtful follow-up card in the mail along with a plant. It was a deeply touching experience during a painful time, and I will always love and cherish Mimi.

Took my 2.5 year old dog to Scout’s new West Loop location and had a great experience. I thought my dog had an ear infection but my husband disagreed. Two weeks later the poor guy needed help ASAP so we rushed to Scout. We were seen quickly, they ran tests right away, and we left with meds and instructions. They treated us like family and everyone we met was exceptionally friendly. My dog was in pain and they were gentle. The employees really love animals and provide excellent care as well as customer service. My second favorite part of the experience was the easy parking!!! Thanks Scout

Brought my dog in after I noticed a big bulge on the side of her stomach. I was able to schedule an online appointment ASAP and have her looked at. The staff were incredibly friendly and the vet explained everything to me in clear and simple terms. I highly recommend for urgent care for your pet !

Scout came recommended by our primary vet when we needed immediate care for our dog. We were seen promptly upon arrival and left within an hour. We were given great medical advice and the treatment options were carefully discussed. We never felt any pressure to make decisions and were able to diagnose our dog's health concerns with ease. We highly recommend Scout when you need urgent pet care!

Found Scout on Google after the first urgent care cancelled our appointment. Scout saw us the same day and we were in and out within 30 minutes. Check in was fast, check out was even faster. All of my concerns were addressed and my dog is well on his way to recovery (he had pink eye and the doctor diagnosed easily)
