Just moved to the area and brought my cat in for his first visit today - everyone was wonderful! Dr. Clay-Smith is very kind, and her techs are helpful and sweet. They were upfront and clear on cost, which I liked as well. 100% recommend.

Animal Advocate has been a fantastic experience! My wife and I looked at a few vets around Chicago but ultimately brought our golden retriever puppy here. The vet tech's are extremely friendly and the veterinarians are all knowledgeable and a great resource for any/all questions. They also offer puppy training classes led by one of the vet tech's named Erin. Our puppy Charlie is obsessed with going to the vet and if my mother wouldn't kill me, I'd actually leave Charlie in my will to Erin. Upon seeing Erin she freaks out like one of those dogs who hasn't seen their owner in a year. Animal Advocate pricing is very competitive with other vets and they have monthly packages available depending on how much care your pet needs. You can do your due diligence and shop around but going here is a no-brainer.

Called in for an appointment Friday and was Given an appointment for that evening.Took my cat for a check up as she just had kittens and I was worried about her being so thin. I arrived at my appointment time was placed in a room staff was nice and attentive shortly after Dr walked in. She listened to my concerns and did the necessary test. I was provided with cost prior to confirming care. Cost was very affordable I’m a cat mom of 5 so cost was a major factor for me. I was able to get the necessary test and results were emailed to me that night. Definitely going back for future care.

This used to be our go-to vet, but unfortunately, our experience has drastically changed over the past six months. It seems like the entire staff has been replaced, and with that, the level of service has significantly declined. Appointments are rarely on time, and it’s become frustratingly difficult to get in touch with anyone by phone. Most concerning, however, is the decline in the quality of care our dog is receiving. We’ve made the difficult decision not to return.

I love all the vets and staff at Animal Advocate. I’ve been taking my 2 cats there for just about 4 years now. They have been great about getting me in quickly when my kitties are sick and their treatments have always gotten them better. My youngest cat got spayed here last summer. As always they review all the pricing with you about everything up front, so there is never a surprise charge. I dropped my cat off in the morning and picked her up a few hours later. Everything went perfectly. After every visit they reach out a few days later to check in. I would highly recommend Animal Advocate for anyone who lives downtown or the surrounding areas.
