I recently took my dog, Limón here for an ear infection, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff was friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in, and the veterinarian was thorough in examining Limón. The assistant, I believe her name was Gretel, explained the treatment plan clearly and provided me with helpful tips for care at home. Within a week, Limón's ear infection had cleared up completely. I’m grateful for their expertise and the care they showed to Limón. Highly recommend this vet for their excellent service and compassionate care!

The Santa Barbara clinic is a great place to bring your pets. I’ve been coming here for years. The Vets are knowledgeable, the staff is very friendly and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. My dogs have run the gamut from regular check ups to needing surgery. I trust their service and the prices are reasonable.

Santa Barbara Animal Hospital has great/knowledgeable staff! My family takes all of our dogs here and they all love Dr. Alexander. We have a 2 year old Labrador who got into everything when he was under 1 year, so we have been here many times for various things. Appointments are easy to make and we’ve even been able to schedule appointments same day. We’ve used their online prescription service as well, which is convenient, and can get good deals when they have a sale.

If you have a cat, take your cat somewhere else. I can't believe I have taken my cats here for 8 + years. Find a vet that actually cares about cats. When I brought in my cat, who was sick and dying, instead of trying to help, your vet told me that she does not specialize in cats and advised me to take him somewhere else. She has mentioned this before, but I didn’t think much of it until last Monday, when I faced the reality of needing immediate help. I’m sharing this experience to help others understand that if their cat has a serious health issue, it’s best to take them to a vet who genuinely cares for cats and doesn’t repeatedly emphasize a focus on dogs.
