Didn't get my pet seen but was traveling & had a concerning situation with my dog. Dr. was nice enough to call me back on a weekend if not mistaken and offered to come to our hotel if his symptoms didn't improve. Thankfully they did! Very grateful she returned our call & have no issue that she is house call only. She went above & beyond!

Based on the reviews, it appears that Rocky Mountain Veterinary, likely led by "Dr. G," prioritizes personalized care and goes above and beyond for their clients and their animals.

Given the first review, it seems Rocky Mountain Veterinary operates primarily as a mobile or house-call veterinary service. The reviewer, who was traveling and had a concern about their dog, mentioned that the doctor offered to come to their hotel on a weekend if the dog's symptoms didn't improve. This strongly suggests that the "environment" of Rocky Mountain Veterinary is not a traditional clinic setting but rather the convenience and comfort of your own location. This mobile approach can be particularly beneficial for pets who experience anxiety during travel or in unfamiliar environments, as well as for owners who appreciate the convenience of at-home veterinary care.

The services offered by Rocky Mountain Veterinary, based on the limited but highly positive feedback, appear to include:

  • General Veterinary Consultation: Providing professional advice and assessment of pet health concerns.
  • Potential for House Calls: Offering the convenience of the veterinarian coming to your home or even a hotel in urgent situations.
  • Diagnostic Assessment: The second review implies a thorough diagnostic approach, where Dr. G was able to identify the underlying problem with a mare, preventing a potentially harmful course of action based on "bad advice."
  • Preventative Care and Treatment: While not explicitly detailed, the positive outcomes suggest a range of care aimed at both maintaining health and treating ailments.
  • Emergency Advice and Support: As demonstrated by Dr. G's willingness to call back and offer a house call during a concerning situation.

The features that seem to define Rocky Mountain Veterinary include:

  • Mobile Service: Primarily operating through house calls, offering unparalleled convenience.
  • Exceptional Responsiveness: Dr. G called back a traveling pet owner on what might have been a weekend, showing a high level of dedication.
  • Willingness to Go Above and Beyond: The offer to travel to a hotel for a pet in need highlights a commitment to patient care that extends beyond typical clinic boundaries.
  • Strong Diagnostic Skills: Dr. G is credited with correctly identifying and addressing an underlying issue that could have had serious consequences for a horse.
  • Personalized Care: The nature of house-call veterinary services often allows for more focused and individualized attention to each patient.

In terms of promotional information, the two testimonials act as incredibly strong endorsements. The first highlights the convenience and the doctor's willingness to go the extra mile, which is a significant selling point for a mobile veterinary service. The second emphasizes the doctor's expertise and ability to provide sound medical advice that can prevent serious errors, building trust in their professional capabilities. While no specific discounts or offers are mentioned, the exceptional service described serves as its own powerful promotion.

For local users in Fountain, CO, Rocky Mountain Veterinary offers a unique approach to pet care by bringing the veterinary expertise directly to you. If you value convenience, personalized attention, and a veterinarian who is willing to go above and beyond, Rocky Mountain Veterinary, likely led by the highly recommended Dr. G, may be an excellent choice for your pet's healthcare needs. The willingness to make house calls, as demonstrated in the first review, can be particularly appealing for those with pets that are difficult to transport or who are more comfortable in their home environment.

The second review, focusing on the accurate diagnosis and potentially life-saving advice for a horse, indicates a high level of veterinary skill and the ability to handle more complex cases as well. While the absence of a phone number in the provided information means you would need to find contact details through other means, the positive feedback strongly suggests that connecting with Rocky Mountain Veterinary would be worthwhile for your pet care needs in the Fountain, CO area.

Dr G is the best! She really saved me from making a big mistake from bad advice. Had I not of met her quite randomly my great performing mare would have lost the prime of her life treating her instead of fixing the underlying problem. Cant say enough good things about her but I obviously recommend!

I called Dr. Goonan fairly short to get my dog looked at for a UTI. She worked around my schedule to get her seen, got us medication right there and was very easy to work with. On top of that we went out of town so we left our dog with my mother and Dr. G wanted my mother to call to get updates on how my dog was doing, and called when we got back into town to see how she was doing.

I called her yesterday morning left message she called back within the hr. Made an appointment for 4pm. This worked out so good I didn't want to have to take Momma cat away from babies or have to take them too. That would have stressed her and babies. She was so helpful and sweet. Didn't mind my kids watching even tried to involve my 5year old she was to be a vet. I highly recommend her. 😃☺😃☺😃☺

Dr G. is great. I called around to several vets and Dr G. was able to come out on the same day, a Saturday. Very caring and thorough. FYI, obviously she is not retired!
