Two months ago today, I brought my Beautiful 12 year Blind, Arthritic Bassett/beagle Fiona to Dr Fox for what I thought would be a peaceful euthanize & release her from the pain. I’m stilled haunted everyday with seeing Fiona being dragged back in the room by Dr. Fox & Megan in muzzle three times to small, smashing Fiona face so tight I couldn’t see her eyes as she struggled to breath thrashing till Megan put her on her side & Dr Fox administered all three shots, it happen so quick I never got a chance to tell her how much I loved her & goodbye. Dr Fox & Megan left the room telling me she was dead & take as long as I want.... Dr Fox, Megan & Joanne showed zero compassion for Fiona & me. Dr Fox, Megan & Joanne acted like it was not a big deal or CRUEL or INHUMANE. I wake up everyday begging for a “do-over”& wishing I had screamed stop instead of “don’t hurt her”. I go to bed at night begging my sweet babe Fiona’s spirit for forgiveness. I truly don’t know if I can ever forgive myself for taking Fiona to Dr Fox at River Landings.

One reviewer described a traumatic euthanasia experience involving their 12-year-old dog, Fiona. They recounted a distressing scene where Fiona was allegedly dragged, muzzled with an ill-fitting muzzle, and visibly struggled during the procedure. The reviewer expressed deep regret and emotional distress over the perceived lack of compassion and the rushed nature of the euthanasia, which prevented them from saying a proper goodbye.

Another reviewer shared a separate negative experience related to their miniature pincher's diagnosis and treatment. They claimed that the clinic diagnosed their dog with cancer and recommended a $6,000 blood transfusion, implying the dog would die without it. The reviewer opted for alternative treatments, including Fenbendazole, a dewormer, which they found through online research. They reported that their dog's health significantly improved, and they expressed skepticism about the clinic's diagnostic practices and potential financial incentives related to referrals for expensive procedures. They strongly advised others to conduct thorough research before committing to costly treatments.

Last December after my wife passed away my dog my beloved miniature pincher was bleeding from the mouth one morning all over the bed. So immediately I took her to this clinic where my father took his dog after an hour or two they called me to pick her up and I was Told that she had cancer and that if she didn’t have a blood transfusion which by the way I was told with $6000 up the road that she would be dead within a month. Fortunately. I started to look into things and look for alternative methods to treat my dog. I went online to different search engines. Google not being any help as they keep a lot of information from people and I found some stories about a drug called Fenbendazole Which is a dewormer. I started to read articles about this drug and how several human beings had used it to battle, cancer cancer mainly being caused by parasites which people don’t realize. Well this drug combats those parasites and I read article after article about Studies of this drug and its ability to fight parasites and Cancer. It seems quite a few human beings have used it to combat their cancer. That was last December and now it is October of the following year and my dog is doing Better than ever. I don’t know if this animal clinic has a relationship or gets incentives from pushing people down the street to get blood transfusions for $6000 but they were wrong and I’ll never bring my dog back there again. So be weary of any veterinarian that tells you that your dog needs a blood transfusion or it’s going to die And remember that Fenbendazole Which I purchased on Amazon for Next and nothing has helped a lot of animals and people fight parasites and Cancer. That’s the reason I give them one and I suggested people do a little bit more research when they’re told that they have to spend outrageous amounts of money to keep their best friends alive. She’s 13 years old now and still kicking

I’ve brought 3 pets to River Landings over the past 5 years and have always been satisfied. I’m young and recently got a new kitten to bring to college with me, so I always have questions. I received nothing but kindness and patience from staff which I’m so grateful for. I definitely recommend this veterinary clinic!

My dog is 18 with a heart condition and on lots of meds. She's very nervous and won't let anyone trim her face , not even the groomer, but the girls here did it and it looks amazing! Dr Bonda is also extremely good.

There is a lady who has posted about a terrible experience with her senior dog that was put down by this clinic. The veterinarian and staff were not compassionate, they pushed her muzzled dog into the office, and the dog was put on a table and given three injections quickly and the vet said take as much time as you need and left the room. This person is devastated at how she was treated and her beloved pet. Most of us know from our own experiences even with humans in medical facilities, staff become desensitized because they are so used to dealing with this everyday. However that doesn't excuse a person from showing compassion & care for not only the owner, but for the pet that is about to endure an end of life procedure. We don't really give animals enough credit and many assume that they don't know what's happening.
