My two year old cat was vomiting and pooping outside of his litter box which alarmed me. I called requesting an urgent same day appointment and thankfully they had availability. I drove all the way from Riverside to bring my baby to this cat hospital. The staff was so nice and comforting and the vet took her time and explained everything to me. I feel like she truly cared about my cat and listed to my concerns. Thankfully, my cat is going to be okay but better safe than sorry. I love that this clinic is cats only. My cat was super calm and relaxed without having dogs aggressively barking in the waiting room. The staff also provided a pheromone blanket to soothe y cat while you’re waiting. It was amazing! Will be back to bring my other kitten for annual checkups!

My cat’s safety was my priority and after seeing the wonderful reviews I decided to schedule an appointment at the cat hospital. I loved the facility, it is clean, and beautiful. The procedure was explained to me to be very safe and with low risks. My cat had his cysts removal on Friday 1/31/25 with Dr Schroder, who was the doctor available that day. By Sunday, my cat’s seemed withdrawn, hiding in my closet all day, and not eating. One of his incisions felt like there was a hard ball underneath it. And that side of his next was noticeably more swollen. I called the clinic Monday morning with my concerns, and was told to send pictures so the doctor could review. I did, and was told, that all the symptoms were normal and the hard ball I was feeling could be scar tissue. I was told to monitor it and call or take him in if I had any other concerns. On Tuesday morning, I go to do the wound clean and see my cat’s dressing saturated with creamy, tan secretions. At that moment I knew this wasn’t normal. I immediately took him in. Dr Magee saw us right away and when she pressed on the hard ball, a large amount of nasty puss poured from the incision. She was concerned and said she had no idea what could had happened since the surgery is done under a sterile environment. She squeezed all the puss out and said the antibiotic shot he received the day of the procedure would still cover him. I was sent with wound care instructions, which I followed very closely. The incision did not get better, especially now my cat was scratching incessantly. I cover the incision as best as possible to protect it. I was told come back in 2 days. I could not go due to work but my mother in law did and Dr Juarez was the one that saw him. She removed the stitches and removed a gnarly piece of tissue from his neck incision. She then proceeded to tell my mother in law to keep the incision (which by now it is a hole on his neck) open for better healing. I was concerned the cat would scratch and make it worse so I told my mother in law to keep the neck dressing on while I made it home and could watch him. When I got home I took the dressing off as instructed and when I saw how deep and hollow the hole in his neck was, I panicked! I am a nurse and while I don’t know much about animals , I knew that incision looked bad. I could see muscle tissue! I immediately drove to the closest animal emergency hospital since it was past 6pm. The doctor at the emergency hospital right away said the cat needed another procedure to go back and take all the infected and dead tissue out and close it up. He spent the whole night there and I picked him up in the morning. I went back to follow up at the Rialto cat hospital, where Dr Magee saw him and said the wound was still not healing well so he need another procedure to place a drain. After that he did start getting better. And he is still recovering as I write this. In summary I ended up paying double the price since the emergency clinic bill was a little more than the original surgery price. The drain placement was covered by the hospital, but it still cost me $4000 for all and a stressful week where I thought my cat wasn’t going to make it. I did not budget for all of that. In summary, I don’t want to say the clinic is awful as the care I received by the techs and Dr Magee was outstanding. But for the doctor that did the initial surgery that started the infection and the doctor that instead of being proactive and preparing to do the incision clean up and closing the day we brought the cat for the follow up, I am very disappointed at their care. This could had been handled better. This was a routine procedure, the cysts were benign and non infectious. It has been extremely stressful for me, I have been doing his wound care. Anyone that has cats can understand how hard it is to make a cat take medications, not scratch, and do wound clean ups twice a day. I’m sorry for the long post but as a pet owner, I want to be transparent for other cat parents.

Rescued my barn kitty who got attacked by other feral mafia cats. Went to another vet hospital & my baby was traumatized. Went to Rialto Cat Hospital & my baby Charlie did so well. He didn't hiss, bite, or scratch anyone. The Vet is brilliant & answered all of my questions about FIV & concerns I had about other opinions. I had done some research, but i needed to hear it from an experienced Vet & she was so insightful, i knew we were in great hands. The ladies were so supportive & kind to me & Charlie. I love how clean, welcoming, and beautiful the facility is. I'm definitely bringing my other kitty Mushu to this office. I felt safe leaving my baby Charlie with these wonderful ladies, vet, & staff. This place is 100% cat friendly. I love how zen it is in the rooms & in the waiting lobby. I felt so relaxed, it felt like a mini spa for me & Charlie. My baby got neutered & I love the follow up calls. I'm a busy lady & always on the run. Those check ins are a life saver when I lose track of time. This place definitely gained my trust & respect. Thank you guys for treating Charlie like one of your own 💚 It means the world to us. 🐈🤱

Looove this place. All the vets are very empathetic. They're all about quality. Office is very quiet and soothing, unlike other vet offices that are cold, and unwelcoming. Everyone here is so kind. I bring my 3 kitties here. Ash, Storm, and Loki. Thank you all for being so amazing with my babies. Dental work team is great too!
