Resurgence Veterinary Mobility

My senior boy and I came here for about a year and I can’t say enough nice things about our experience. He was diagnosed with an irreversible disc disease and the team did everything they could to help slow the progress and make him comfortable. He loved going to see his friends at therapy and I loved that he had something to look forward to. I will forever be grateful for the support and guidance from Resurgence Veterinary team.

We are so grateful for the incredible team at RVM! Our dog, Jax, developed some hind leg weakness back in December after an extended boarding period and after doing x-rays showing inflammation in his knees, we were referred to an orthopedic surgeon but we felt that was too drastic so we found Resurgence instead and opted for a consultation for physical therapy. During the initial exam, Dr. McNamee was very informative and explained what she was seeing with Jax and gave recommendations for a treatment plan and exercises to do at home. Jax did 4 physical therapy sessions over the course of a month (shout out to Hailey for being so great with our boy and also for chatting with me during the sessions to show Jax’s progress!) and each week we saw him get a little bit stronger and back to normal. During our recheck this week with Dr. McNamee, she confirmed he’s made great progress and didn’t need PT anymore! Jax had a partial tear in his right rear cruciate ligament back in 2021 and perhaps it never healed properly and flared up again during his time at boarding but the PT helped him evenly strengthen his legs and put less stress on his spine. Overall, we’re so thankful for the team at RVM for helping Jax regain his strength!

Cannot recommend RVM enough! Bean has been working with them for the past 10ish months. He started therapy after he underwent surgery to repair multiple fractures he got from being hit by a car last year. He loves seeing the staff every time we go, and it’s very apparent that Dr. McNamee and all of the staff have their patients’ best interests at heart. I’m confident that with the help of RVM, Bean will make as much of a recovery as possible!

The doctor and staff here are amazing. Our dog had a horrible accident under the care of someone else. As a result, lost her leg, skull fragments, and vision during Thanksgiving 2023. After weeks at Auburn Veterinary University, they referred us here. She has made a full recovery minus her vision and is walking on her own. I highly recommend this business for your pet physical therapy needs!!!

Brought in my dog for some slight weakness in his hind legs as a preventative/proactive measure. The team at Resurgence is really fantastic. Everyone is kind, engaging and knowledgeable. I received a detailed evaluation and PT plan which included at home exercises. There has been a significant reduction in my dogs soreness and discomfort after hard play sessions and intense exercise. Highly recommended this facility for any dogs in need of rehab or PT. So happy we found them!
