Reiss Mobile Vet

Dr Reiss is the most caring and professional Vet we have ever worked with for our dogs and cats. We love the fact that he is mobile and can come to our house in special care situations. He is so well respected that he stays booked up but still tries to make accommodations.

Dr. Reiss cared for my older cat for the past 5 years, even though the process of at-home euthanasia. Our cat was with us for 20 years, and the loss has been felt deeply in our household. Dr. Reiss was above and beyond compassionate and explained everything thoroughly to ensure our comfort and understanding before anything took place. He has been completely consistent in his care these past 5 years, but this last appointment was obviously especially critical, and his bedside manner was nothing short of exactly what a family would need in this extremely difficult moment. He took care of every aspect so that we could completely focus on our last moments with Sebastian, and then handled his precious body with the utmost dignity and respect to all of us. You couldn't ask for a better, kinder, doctor. And I also have to say that the process was as peaceful as it could have been and a significant part of that was because of his attention to detail, concern, and obvious level of professional care. I also should note that the service he uses for cremation (Agape) absolutely exceeded expectations. I used to work for a vet hospital, and I've actually never seen such a professional and dignified presentation as what they provide back to the pet owner. I truly felt like my precious cat was honored, and that has done my heart good in my grief. Don't shop around. If Dr. Reiss services your area, do not even consider going elsewhere. Lord-willing, he will be our first choice with any pets we have again in the future. Thank you, Dr. Reiss. Our family will never forget your compassion and kindness.

I have lived in several states and had many pets over the years... so I've gotten to experience a number of different veterinary practices. Dr. Reiss is absolutely the best, hands down. He treats our pets like we do - family members.

There's a reason he's the best around! Careful, loving, thorough, patient, and accommodating -- it's hard to find a better combination. Pricing is good (considering you could pay slightly less nearby for MUCH worse care) and the staff is kind and helpful. This community loves excellent care and service -- there's a reason Reiss is the best around!!

Either mobile or at the office, Dr. Reiss provides the most professional care for the dogs and cats. Highly recommend for your animals. Switched from Blue Ridge and glad we did.
