I have used Red Barn for over 25 years since i relocated from larger cities. Although I tried others sometimes; closer to the house, in fact lived directly across to the road or due to the clinic being closed for the staff to receive a much needed but often too short of a vacation, I never found a kinder, more caring staff and doctors, from Dr. Creel to the ones he would have to call on for aid during a vacation or whenever some unfortunate accident might occur, all the way through to the transition to retirement with Doctor Williams and staff. It was virtually seamless in its transition with little staffing change. Just yesterday I was faced with the dilemma that all ‘pet’ owners that know that we don’t ‘own’ our so called ‘pets’, rather they are our family members, our ‘babies’, ‘children’ or our ‘other brothers/sisters/mamacitas/papis’ that protect us, love us and console us como nadia else can with compassion and love sans conditions. It was close to closing time when I brought ml mamacita, a rescue of indeterminate age with 2 babies of her own and reports of 7 total that were lost, taken or worse by the time we rescued her and her 2 remaining babies, hiding under a car, cold, been riddled with BB’s (revealed by X-Rays, years later) shot by a .22 at base of spine in tail, required docking on a ‘mutt’ of indeterminate lineage, but ones that were not typically subject to docking, a gash on her side, all before a snowstorm predicted for the following day, a Sunday. Red Barn was there for her & her babies that Sunday over 14 years ago. Her dedicated journey to her babies and watching over our family and business came to a peaceful end yesterday, close to closing on a Friday afternoon. Doctor Williams and staff never once rushed me or made me feel like I was a burden. Their compassion and empathy was boundless and made me & my family feel welcome and at ease with our grief. So, once again, thank you Red Barn Animal Hospital for taking care of me & my family!

Oct 29, 2024 · Brian LovainI called when a co-workers dog had a profound limp and they worked me in around my schedule. Staff was very friendly and competent and thorough. Will definitely take my own pets there in the future.
Nov 16, 2024 · Connie BlevinsWe had to take our dog Stormie there for surgery May 10th and the staff were amazing. We had no worries leaving her there. They were very friendly and explained everything to me before the surgery and after. You can tell they really love and care for all the animals there. They even washed her collar while she was having surgery which I thought was very sweet of them. They took great care of our girl .
