Rau Animal Hospital

I have three dogs who have all been helped by Rau! Every one of my experiences with them has been positive! The entire veterinary staff and admin staff are genuinely good people trying to provide great service for animals and their owners. They respond very quickly to phone calls and can usually see pets quickly if necessary. It was scary choosing a new Veterinarian with all the horror stories one hears but I’m glad I made the switch over to Rau!

Rau Animal hospital in Glenside Pennsylvania is the best veterinarian hospital. I have been going there for many years and can say that the staff and doctors are kind, knowledgeable and compassionate. I love Dr. Jane and Dr. Jill. I appreciate the care and compassion they give to my animals.

I just transferred my dogs health care to Rau a couple of months ago because I moved. I took him there for his initial visit and had a pretty good experience. I called them this morning (around 8:15) to reschedule an appointment I had for tomorrow and the woman I spoke with was very unpleasant and rude and kept sighing during the call as if I was bothering her and practically hung up on me. I know people can become desensitized as they go through their daily routine and talking to clients, but being rude is unacceptable and needs to be called out. This was disappointing, but hope this experience doesn't speak for the practice themselves.

Rau has always treated my cat as if he was their own. They've taken very good care of him and given me good advice on several of his problems. Edit: We got a kitten recently and Rau has been nothing but amazing getting him his shots and making sure he grows up healthy. Rau's facilities are always really clean and well maintained. The staff is always really friendly and very helpful. Dr Murphy has been really friendly and helpful and was able to answer all of my questions. She gave me some great recommendations for cat cardiologists when our kitten needed an ultrasound.

We've been using Rau for almost 25 years. Highly recommended by all of our dogs... and their owners.
