It was pretty good. Was not really receiving much information. Just weighed our new girl, Layla gave her some shots and sent us home with a huge round pill. Didn't even have the name of the medicine on the bottle. Had to call them back after our dog started displaying odd behavior from side effects we were not privy to. It's cash and quick. Not to take away from the great older couple who run this vet. They were very kind, just very quiet! Ask questions for sure!!

While specific details about its aesthetic or ambiance are not extensively available, the focus of a pet hospital is primarily on providing efficient and sterile conditions for animal care. Queensbury Animal Hospital provides a range of services fundamental to maintaining the health and well-being of companion animals. These services typically encompass routine preventative care, which is crucial for early detection and management of potential health issues. This would include comprehensive wellness examinations, which are vital for assessing a pet's overall health status. Vaccinations, a cornerstone of preventive medicine, are offered to protect pets against common and often serious infectious diseases. These routine services help to establish a baseline for a pet's health and can guide future care decisions. While specific details on advanced procedures like extensive surgeries or specialized diagnostics are not widely publicized for this particular hospital, a general veterinary practice of this type usually handles common surgical needs such as spaying and neutering, as well as addressing minor injuries and illnesses. The ability to provide shots and dispense medication, as highlighted in one customer review, indicates their capacity for standard medical interventions. It is also common for such facilities to offer diagnostic services like blood work and possibly imaging to aid in accurate diagnoses.
A key feature of Queensbury Animal Hospital, as gathered from customer feedback, appears to be the presence of experienced and compassionate staff, including veterinarians who are dedicated to animal welfare. One notable aspect mentioned is the quick service provided, which can be a significant advantage for pet owners seeking efficient care. The review mentioning "Dr. Lansing saved the day" suggests a readiness to assist in urgent situations, even for non-regular clients, demonstrating a commitment to compassionate care during critical times. This willingness to go above and beyond, especially for a dog in distress on a Saturday, highlights a valuable characteristic of their service—a focus on immediate and empathetic response to pet emergencies within their operational capacity. This kind of dedication can be incredibly reassuring for pet owners facing unexpected health crises with their beloved animals. The overall impression from customer reviews points to a team that, while perhaps quiet in their communication style, is genuinely kind and focused on providing necessary medical care.
When considering promotional information, Queensbury Animal Hospital’s key strengths lie in its compassionate approach, efficient service, and the evident dedication of its veterinary professionals. For potential clients, the ability to provide prompt care, especially for unexpected health issues, is a strong selling point. The facility could emphasize its commitment to preventive medicine through regular check-ups and vaccinations, highlighting the long-term benefits for pet health. Advertising their willingness to accommodate urgent cases, as demonstrated by Dr. Lansing, could attract new clients looking for reliable emergency support during business hours. While the reviews suggest a need for clients to be proactive in asking questions, this also presents an opportunity for the hospital to emphasize its open communication policy and encourage client engagement in their pet's care. Offering clear information about prescribed medications and their potential side effects, perhaps through printed instructions or a brief consultation, could further enhance client satisfaction and trust. Regular promotions for wellness packages or discounted initial consultations for new clients could also be effective in drawing in new pet owners within the Queensbury area.
In summary, Queensbury Animal Hospital, as a Pet Hospital, is positioned to offer essential veterinary services to the Queensbury community. Its core strengths include a compassionate and dedicated team, particularly noted for their ability to handle urgent situations, and an efficient service model. While there is room for enhanced client communication regarding medical details, the facility's commitment to animal well-being and responsive care makes it a valuable resource for local pet owners. Their presence on West Mountain Road provides a local option for routine and some urgent veterinary needs, reinforcing their role in maintaining the health of the community’s animal companions.

Jan 18, 2024 · Josh WarringtonDr Lansing saved the day ! My dog had a hot spot that quickly became infected. My dog was not eating, vomiting and wouldn’t even go in his treasured walks. Despite being a Saturday and not one of his clients, Dr Lansing made the time to see my dog. I am truly grateful for the compassion and care my dog received!

Jan 03, 2025 · Massfusion StudioThe best word I could use to describe Dr Lansing would be, Kind. He and Mrs Lansing are caring but most importantly, they are kind and when you have a 19 year old, geriatric kitty who has good days and bad days, you and your kitty desperately need kindness. *** EDIT*** The day finally came to send my little sweet, cat child to the Rainbow Bridge. I wasn't ready but she was ready June 23 2022😔 and Dr and Mrs. Lansing Were there for both of us. Myself and my little Daisy Mae. And we sent her Home with kindness, caring compassion and dignity. And Love. So, so much Love. 💔 Again, I cannot stress the kindness of these two wonderful people, Dr and Mrs Lansing.
