The hospital is easily reachable via phone at (918) 825-1717, which also serves as their mobile contact. Pryor Veterinary Hospital offers a range of essential services and goods for sale, all aimed at ensuring the optimal health, well-being, and longevity of companion animals.

The environment at Pryor Veterinary Hospital is characterized by a strong sense of care, efficiency, and professionalism. Clients consistently highlight the compassionate approach of the staff, noting that pets are "taken such great care of" and that the team is "absolutely the best." This indicates a warm and welcoming atmosphere designed to minimize anxiety for both pets and their owners, even during potentially stressful procedures like spaying. The hospital's ability to complete procedures quickly, such as a cat spay in "only an hour," suggests a well-organized and efficient clinical environment. This efficiency does not come at the expense of care; rather, it reflects a well-coordinated team. The positive interactions and the sentiment of "thank you all for what you do" contribute to a reassuring and supportive environment where pet owners feel their "fur babies" are in capable and caring hands. The mention of "Pryor vet south" in one review suggests that there might be multiple locations or a clear distinction in services, which speaks to the organization's capacity to handle varying needs within the community, though the provided address specifically refers to the 1135 W Graham Ave location.

Pryor Veterinary Hospital offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services, addressing both routine preventative care and more immediate medical needs. As a "Pet Hospital," their services include:

  • Surgical Procedures: A key service highlighted is spaying, which is described as being performed with "great care" and quickly, indicating a proficiency in common surgical interventions. This suggests they likely offer other routine surgeries as well, such as neutering.
  • Vaccinations: As demonstrated by Henry receiving his "booster shots," the hospital provides essential preventative immunizations for pets.
  • General Wellness Exams: Implicit in routine care and booster shots, regular check-ups are fundamental to their service offerings.
  • Responsive Care for Adverse Reactions: The quick and effective response to Henry having a "bad reaction" to his booster shots, leading to immediate care and positive outcomes, highlights their capability to handle unexpected and urgent medical situations. This points to a strong capacity for responsive medical intervention.
  • Medical Treatment: Beyond preventative care, they treat medical conditions, as seen with Henry's reaction and subsequent recovery, ensuring pets receive necessary medical attention.
  • Pain Management: While not explicitly detailed, the focus on pet comfort and recovery suggests an emphasis on pain management as part of their post-operative care and general treatment protocols.
  • Client Communication and Reassurance: The care taken to alleviate client fears ("so scared and nervous for her") demonstrates a commitment to empathetic communication and providing reassurance.
Given their designation as a "Pet Hospital," it is highly probable that they also offer other standard services such as diagnostics (e.g., blood tests, imaging), dental care, and general consultations for various pet health concerns, although these are not specifically detailed in the provided snippets. The emphasis on "quick" service combined with "great care" suggests an efficient and effective approach to veterinary medicine.

This personalized, loving approach significantly enhances the client experience. Thirdly, their responsiveness to emergencies and adverse reactions is a critical feature. The quick and effective treatment of Henry's bad reaction to a booster shot, leading to his rapid recovery, showcases their capability to handle urgent medical situations with professionalism and efficacy. This provides immense peace of mind for pet owners. Fourthly, the long-standing relationships with clients, spanning "many more years to come," indicate a high level of trust and consistent quality of care that fosters loyalty. Specific examples like the efficient spay procedure and the successful management of an adverse vaccine reaction highlight their capabilities and build trust. While no explicit promotional offers or discounts are mentioned in the provided text, the consistent praise for being "well priced" acts as an inherent promotional benefit. Staff was very friendly and helpful on our very first visit here..the vet was also very friendly and considerate. He gave my pup some meds in case she got sore from her shots....that was so thoughtful. I will be going back for sure and switching my other pets to this facility!! It's so nice to find not only a business with friendly employees but the prices are very affordable.

We have tried many vets across the Tulsa area. We were tired of our pups not being seen by the same vet and the price gouging for normal routine visits. We started using Pryor Vet South a few years ago and have been very pleased with the care they provide our four legged friends. We never have trouble getting in for a visit and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend

**Funny to me they respond to all the five star reviews but not a word on the one star reviews. They must know that their service level is going way downhill and not even willing to try and fix it. Pretty sad really** Have been here several times and they have always been super nice and the vets I have seen have been great. Today was definitely not that. The girls at the front desk were nice but the vet wasn’t friendly at all. Paid for an examination that took all of 2 minutes didn’t tell me anything just left. Dog had ticks and some scabs from them. They didn’t even look at the scabs or the ticks to see the kind. They gave me a pill said they will all die. That was the entire interaction. She seemed like she was in a hurry but there wasn’t a single person in the waiting room. $183 later and 10 mins later I walked out wondering wtf just happened and now guess I will be looking for a new vet or at least will ask who the vet on duty is before coming here because the one working today was the least friendly least personable person I have ever met. Do yourself a favor and don’t go if Amber is the vet on duty.
