Providence Veterinary Clinic

We have never, and I mean NEVER, found a vet that we love as much as this place. Not only do they treat our 2 babies with so much love and care, what sold it for us was how they took in our bully breed baby. My husband and I rescued our boy Dobby from a shelter in 2021 and quickly found he had several problems with trust and reacting when getting overwhelmed. We love to travel and this made it really difficult to do that because we couldn’t find anyone to care for him while we were away. Family members were scared of him and the one time we got a sitter, he chased her out the window….needless to say, travelling took a backseat until we were confident that Dobby was not only cared for but that the people caring for him were safe as well. Fast forward to us finally saying boarding may be our only option and it had to be at a place we knew. The day we dropped Dobby off, he was both anxious and scared. However, when we got back from our trip and Dobby was brought out, he was a completely different dog. Tail wagging, excited, and just overall happy and relaxed. Since then, he walks right into the office and into the back with no issues and gets SO excited when his 2 favourite vet and kennel techs come out to love on him. Knowing that we finally found people that understand our boys needs is everything we’ve ever hoped for and will absolutely continue to go here!

We have been taking our cats to Providence Vet Clinic for years. We love Dr. Horne. She is perfect for our cats and we trust her totally. They are experts, extremely knowledgeable, very clean, and treat our cats beautifully, just as we treat them. They even help us with our beautiful but temperamental 20 lb. cat for his particular personality. We wouldn't go anywhere else for all of their needs!

Everyone at Providence has always been so wonderful! We started at Providence 2 years ago when we wanted to breed our dogs and they helped us through the whole process. They have always provided the best care for our Bully’s. We use them for boarding when our regular dog sitter isn’t available and our dogs are alway so well cared for. One of our dogs was so scared the first time we left her for boarding she wouldn’t even walk in the door my husband had to carry her back and when we picked her up she walked out a completely different dog she was so confident and happy so we knew the staff went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable, now she walks in no problem. We have 4 big bully’s and they can be a lot to manage but the staff is always so welcoming and takes such great care of them the Nelson dogs are known bunch around Providence and the entire staff has been such a blessing.

I can’t recommend this place enough. Easily the best Vet I’ve ever had. Dr Price is an exemplary veterinarian who’s extremely kind. Taylor and the rest of the team are fantastic. We’ve boarded there as well and always had a good experience with both cats and our dog, with very reasonable prices. Should be your first stop if you’re a pet owner looking for a Vet!

We've been coming to Providence Vet Clinic since we adopted our rescue two years ago. He was a bit of a challenging case to sort out, but the team here has been so patient and provided excellent care. Our little street dog is thriving and loves to visit Dr. Price and team at Providence!
