The doctor did not listen to our concerns or really even look closely at the affected area. We thought our dog had hot spots, he said no they were from chewing bones which didnt make sense since she doesn't chew bones which we shared. He prescribed us wipes and that was all. After receiving a second opinion because it was getting worse, the areas of concern were indeed hot spots and now infected. Because of the misdiagnosis our dog now will need to sedated for the affected areas to be shaved and treated. I will never bring my dog back here again and don't recommend others to bring theirs here either.

Welcome to Providence Pet Hospital

Welcome to Providence Pet Hospital, your local Pet Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, located at 6710 N Hualapai Way Suite 155. As a Pet Hospital, Providence Pet Hospital aims to provide veterinary care services to the local community. Based on the available customer reviews, experiences at this clinic appear to vary significantly.

One customer reported a negative experience, expressing concerns that the doctor did not adequately listen to their concerns or thoroughly examine their dog's affected area. This led to a perceived misdiagnosis of what later turned out to be infected hot spots, requiring sedation and further treatment after seeking a second opinion. This customer stated they would not return and would not recommend the clinic.

In contrast, another customer shared a deeply positive experience during a difficult time, having lost two dogs and two bunnies recently. They sought care at Providence Pet Hospital when their regular vet was unavailable and described the staff as "beyond wonderful and compassionate." This positive experience led them to switch to Providence Pet Hospital as their regular veterinary care provider, expressing appreciation for the staff, Dr. Kevin, and Dr. Perry.

Given these contrasting experiences, it is important for local users to consider both perspectives when evaluating Providence Pet Hospital.

I have had the unfortunate experience of having 2 dogs and 2 bunnies pass away recently. Our regular vet was unavailable and we ended up at Providence Veterinary. They were beyond wonderful and compassionate. They are now our regular vet!!! We love the staff and Dr. Kevin and Dr. Perry.

My poor dog is having issues with allergies and his skin. He was scratching himself raw so I decided to get him some help. Theresa at the front desk is friendly and funny. Tiana helped us get settled by asking lots of questions and gathering information. She's was so attentive and caring. Dr. Perry was very kind, polite and patient. He thoroughly inspected my furbaby Joshua and did not rush the visit. The staff is fantastic. I am going here from now on. They work really hard and I felt they did their best to take care of my baby. Also, their prices are super reasonable! Thank you for not price gouging your clients and for giving us VIP treatment. I appreciate you all! Very happy with our visit! Our new go-to office and staff ❤️ VISIT JULY 30TH, 2024 Hi Providence Team, Just want to say I have been to your pet hospital multiple times now. The last few times I have been helped by Drew and I just wanted to shout him out. He helped me with Joshua's dental appointment and this most recent time when I took Joshua in to have his ear looked at. Drew is very throurough and professional. He never rushes me and is super gentle with my tiny furbaby. Drew, thank you for always being so kind and warm. My family and I appreciate you, Dr. Perry and the rest of your hard-working team. I think you guys are doing a fabulous job and it makes me so happy to know you guys are just down the street. From my family to your work fam, thank you so much!

Dr. Logan is humble, kind, and very professional…he healed my toy poodle’s left eye. I am glad he is a vet there. The team quickly accommodated my dog-daughter the same day, right after the grooming incident because it was her eye. The team is very kind and professional! They also did a follow up call to see how she is doing. Thank you for everything you all did! I know her eye could have been worse if not for your quick action and treatment. Lotus no longer suffers and can open her eye now, I’m sure she is grateful as I am!

This place has gone so far down hill over the last year or so... My $400 spay turned into a $2000 emergency vet bill, now I'm being charged $200 just to look at an open wound and get some antibiotics. They didn't even put a bandaid on it. If you wanna be charged more than a human doctor for work quality like a halfway house, this is the spot. It's a shame because it's right down the road... Now I have to drive somewhere else.
