The Animal Hospital and its staff have set the GOLD STANDARD for care of our animals. I've been beyond thrilled with all of our experiences here over the last seven years that we've been clients. We've been bringing all six of our animals (three dogs, three cats) here, and Dr Tokiwa (Dr T!) and his staff have always taken the time and care to thoroughly understand our animals and their needs. They have not stopped at their first diagnosis, but have gone on to make sure that they were able to recommend the very best treatment possible. Dr. T saved the life of my favorite girl-dog with a very tricky surgery. He has been compassionate when we decided, for behavioral reasons, that our three-year-old stray needed to be euthanized (such a painful decision that it changed the course of my life), and all the staff have taken the time to make my big 86lb goofy dog feel comfortable about getting a needle stuck into him (he howls like a teenager). Our cats have had their own set of unusual diagnoses, and never once did I feel the need to second-guess the advice that I was getting from them. Oh, and last but by no means least, the vet techs have been awesome in the quality of care and questioning that they give. Guys, keep on doing what you're doing because it's awesome! You're worth every penny. I'm only sorry that we're moving house to Connecticut next week and I'm going to lose you all.

At Princeton Vets, we strive to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for both you and your pets. Our facility is designed with your pet's comfort in mind, featuring clean and well-maintained examination rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, and areas for patient recovery. Our team of experienced and compassionate veterinary professionals is at the heart of Princeton Vets. While specific details about all our veterinarians and staff aren't provided in the available information, the positive review highlights the dedication and expertise of Dr. Tokiwa (Dr. T) and the veterinary technicians. According to the review, Dr. T is described as thorough, caring, and highly skilled, even credited with saving a pet's life through a complex surgery. The veterinary technicians are also commended for their quality of care and insightful questioning. This suggests a team that is not only medically proficient but also attentive to the individual needs of each animal and their owners.

Princeton Vets offers a wide array of veterinary services to address various aspects of your pet's health. While a comprehensive list isn't available in the provided text, we can infer several key service areas based on the customer reviews and the general nature of an animal hospital:

  • General Wellness and Preventative Care: This likely includes routine check-ups, vaccinations, parasite prevention (such as flea, tick, and heartworm control), and nutritional counseling to keep your pet healthy and prevent potential health issues.
  • Diagnostics: The mention of test results suggests that Princeton Vets is equipped for various diagnostic procedures, potentially including blood work, urine analysis, and possibly imaging techniques like X-rays to help identify illnesses and health conditions.
  • Surgery: The positive review explicitly mentions a "tricky surgery" performed by Dr. T, indicating that the hospital offers surgical services. This could range from routine procedures like spaying and neutering to more complex surgeries depending on the expertise of the veterinary team and the facilities available.
  • Dental Care: While not explicitly mentioned, dental health is a crucial aspect of overall pet well-being, and many animal hospitals offer dental cleanings and other dental procedures.
  • Euthanasia and End-of-Life Care: The compassionate handling of a difficult euthanasia decision, as described in the positive review, indicates that Princeton Vets provides sensitive and supportive end-of-life care for pets and their owners.
  • Specialist Referrals: The negative review mentions a delay in recommending a specialist, implying that while Princeton Vets may handle a wide range of cases, they also understand the importance of referring patients to specialists when necessary for more complex or specialized care.

It is important to note that one customer review presents a contrasting experience, citing concerns about professionalism, scheduling, communication, billing errors, and delays in receiving test results and specialist referrals. This highlights the importance of considering all available feedback and potentially contacting the hospital directly for more information and to address any specific concerns you may have.

While the provided information doesn't include specific promotional offers, many veterinary hospitals periodically offer special deals on services like vaccinations, dental cleanings, or new client specials. We encourage you to contact Princeton Vets directly at (609) 924-7415 or +1 609-924-7415 to inquire about any current promotions or discounts for new clients in the local area.

This business lacks the professionalism and expertise that you should expect from a veterinary practice. When our dog was sick, they left her inside of a cage for over 10 hours because their office couldn't appropriately schedule the visiting specialist, and they couldn't effectively communicate with families about expectations. In addition, they've tried to bill me twice for unnecessary services because they lack the coordination and organization to appropriately manage their facility. Lastly, it took them over 10 business days to communicate vital test results for our dog, and they only reluctantly (when we decided to leave the practice) decided to recommend that we visit a specialist, although this is what was warranted since the tests were completed. I would recommend that you NOT use this practice - your dog or cat will thank you for it!

We've been taking our cats to the Animal Hospital at Kingston for several years, and we've always been impressed by the quality and consistency of care they've received. Recently, when one of our cats got sick, Dr. Schwartz went above and beyond in treating him, and then made sure to check in with us on multiple occasions to make sure his condition was continuing to improve. Suffice it to say we won't be taking our cats anywhere else for their medical care -- the treatment they receive here is superb.

All the staff here are fantastic! We've been coming in for about 10 years with four cats and a dog and all have had amazing treatment. Dr. T and the whole team has helped our cats: first with brain cancer, the second with an intestinal blockage and hyperthyroidism, third's weightloss, and fourth's hysteria/aggression at every office visit. They've been there every step through our dog's health problems despite his fear of strangers (at first we brought him in with a muzzle, but it's the only place now where he is never aggressive towards strangers), including two CCL tears and corrective surgeries, as well as a tumor resection with a very long healing process. There are no words to describe how grateful I am for the care they've provided over the years. I passionately recommend to everyone I know that they come to these offices.

They are nice and caring but their prices are ridiculous. There are plenty of good vets that won't rip you a new a hole every time you bring your pet in.
